Smart Parts has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against WDP. I don't have a copy of the complaint yet, but I'll just assume it is the same patent they hit ICD with.

well thats a load of crap...they mine as well sew WDP, ICD, Action Markers, Kingman, Tippmann(sure why not), JT, and every other company that makes anything electronic...for crying out loud man....dont they have enough money....i am a big fan of smart parts..but that just knocked them off their little petistle for me...
lol, They think they have the right to be the only electo marker in the world.

dude SP is a bunch of greedy jerks...anyway what is the deal with that, they're suing them cus it's an electro? wasn't angel the first electro (i dont know much about ball history lol)

technically the Shocker was the first electro, and it wasn't owned by SP at the time, but that's a whole nother topic of discussion. I believe that the issue at hand is not that it's an electronic marker, but that it's a solenoid activated marker. I'm not sure tho, as I haven't bothered to read up on what or why they are doing it. I do know that the Gardners are pretty much on the same level as Gino when it comes to making a buck.
