im very curious to what this mode does. it the manual it says like it shows what the fly is capable of or somethign like that. can someone explain more in depth this "demo mode"

What it does is it reverses the eye logic and when the eyes see themselves it allows the user to shoot and then the eyes are blocked it won't allow you to fire. It is for store's to show how fast they can shoot because 99.9% of store will not let you put paint through a new gun, just a selling feature of the gun

so what happens? does it let u get 31 bps? im still confused.

yeah allows you to rip on it without paint, and if your chubby little fingers can go 31bps yes it will cycle that fast

Actually, you don't even have to be able to pull 31bps.

DEMO mode (mode 6) is essentially a SAFE mode that allows you fire the marker. You can be ripping away in demo and the moment it detects a paintball, it ceases to cycle.

*** I strongly recommend putting a barrel plug over your barrel when shooting in DEMO mode. It's just a good habit to be in whenever your marker is 'LIVE.' ***

DEMO mode automatically switches the TR to 21 (max), the ROF to 31 (max) and the marker time to SFAST (max). You'll find that you can easily shoot it once per trigger pull or if you start to walk it... bamm! It sounds like a mini-gun dumping 1,000rds a second. As soon as you let off on the trigger, it will cease to cycle.

Another good thing about DEMO is that it's an excellent way to test just how good your air system is, or how good the LPR holds shootdown. At the tech class my Crossfire held up fine but someone was using another preset and I heard a bit of choking.

omg that is so sweet. i can now show off to people the capablility of this machine gun!

... exactly.

Also if you're going to setup your marker (lpr, ram, etc) I recommend doing that in MODE 2, vs. MODE 1. With MODE 1 you have to turn the eyes off each time you switch to safe and with MODE 2 they're automatically disabled.

yeah the new MT triggers are nice. I find that the angle in the trigger is awsomely placed when i am ripping because of the space frame and how it allows your hand to naturally stay straighter and not angled to hell your fingers tap at a slight angle torwards the back of the gun. Hits the spot on that trig nice

I just tried the Angel Air with my Fly in demo mode.

Ahhhh . . . the A.I.R. did not keep up. It coughed several times. Does the AIR not keep up? or do I need to rebuild the AIR?

It is not the new preset ones. This is the regular AIR about a year old or so.

yea my old AIR would choke also. my crossfire seems to handle demo mode a lot better.

ironically my Force chokes on the Crossfire in Demo while my Flied 4 has zero problems on my Angel AIR!

I tried it with my A.I.R. and it sounded like my grandfather after he has a cigarete. I think it pissed me off more than anything. I have yet to try it with a crossfire. Will try this weekend and let you all know.

Demo mode is "pure fantasy". I hate demo mode. Every kid who sees the marker has to see "demo mode". My eleven yo daughter can shoot the marker with her little finger and still get the XXX readout on the screen. You cant shot paint that fast,,,, yet,, and you rarely shoot paint that fast while in a game. Its like driviing a Ferrari, SIMULATED, interesting but still just a wet dream. I HATE demo mode. :blasting:

I fully agree clowndog. But I beleave that WDP did it just to show what there marker was "capable" of. pnumaticly and electronicly. Example; The B2K had the 66.6 board but pnumaticly it was capped much lower. Remember there is a major differance. The angel 4s (plain and fly) can fully cycle at 31 bps. I beleave this is the purpose for demo mode. To put there "words" into "action", as a proof source for there own hype. just my $.02

i guess I dont feel as bad now. after reading what
Clowndog said. It seems to make sense, but I still think I will do some rebuilding of my angel AIR. :patriot:

demo mode is crazy fast! Attracted alot of attention this weekend when I did it at my home field. Using my ND x-stream reg it kept up and actually did it again tonight for a buddy (rookie4life) and he was awed by it. Heck anyone can rip on it in that mode. Bounces likes no ones business and runs your air out in no time. :watchout: Still a great feature!

Emmit, i think i know why the flied 4 works great, Russ did it!

my joy division fly would just bobble the bolt in the forward position in demo mode. yet, the same EXACT tank( crossfire screw in) on my newly Flied force 4, it hits 31 with zero signs of strugle to hit that cycle rate. I'm very happy with taking your advice and sending it to Russ.

What would make the JD Fly not work as well as the flied force 4? Internaly, are they not the same? Or, what do the MT's do to make them "better" (yes I know they are better any way), is it the MT valve, the board, the trigger, the back plate (just kidding). Just thought I would ask.

honestly , i couldnt tell ya. im not sure if my valve was replaced with the MT valve or not, but honestly i dont care, it shoots great. only bad thing about ym force is russ left out the vertical pin for the valve, so it was spinning as i shot LOL ( ill have to call him for a replacement, for now my LED is now a organ doner hehe)

all i know, is i hated my joy division, after that gun i wanted to try somthing else, and lost faith in WDP. im glad i did give them another try though, holy crap does the force 4 shoots ropes. :)

Sounds awsome!!! Does any one know if we can send our fly4 to an MT to get it "forced" (everything non-cosmetic). Rework and retrofit all the internals? Just an Idea.

Thanks

im guessing just send it to Russ for a gold service. none of my interals appear changed form a regualr fly a4

EDIT: sorry i cant type worth a poop :(

cool thanks. I did not think there was a differance but I thought I would ask any way. Oh, and the JD fly is a great gat. Two of my team mates have one and they rip just like my fly4 and my other team mates force fly. IMO all angels rock and none are worth "hateing" as long as they are set up and run properly.

well after myself, TAG, and Ken Crane all looked at it, and it seems everyone but yourself is getting 20+ bps , and you can get 10-12 at best, you will hate the gun also lol. one way or the other the joy division i had looked good, but was very slow.
btw, eye replacements and then gun hit 26 at psp's chronos woot woot. then my computer crashed and i sold it to get a new one, ohh well.
