The trigger on my bros speed it sticking back. He'll pull it and it will just stick in the back position, and we'll have to push it forward. This happens about every 1/3 shots. He has a dirt trigger, magno mod, and bent optoleaf. The magnet is VERY strong, way too strong for my liking in fact, so its not that. However, he lost his trigger pin, and had to ghetto rig a small philips head in there. We havent put in my trigger pin yet(i dont have my gun with me). The philips has been working, but it just all of a sudden sticks now. My guess is its either the trigger pin, or the optoleaf. Any ideas?

My guess would be the trigger pin... Regardless whether that is the problem or not, I would suggest replacing the jimmy rigged version... As far as the optoleaf, I don't see how that could be the problem, since that is what usually pushes the trigger back into firing position. Unless the leaf was bent in a way as to no longer push it back??? Maybe it is sticking on something???

He said the Opto leaf was bent. He's right, if the leaf is bent in a mater to shorten the pull, it could be bent too much to where it's not allowing the trigger to come back.

What those other guys said, plus if your opto leaf is dry, sometimes there is too much friction to push the trigger back. Try half a drop of Gold Cup or a smear of White Lithium Grease/Dow 33/ Angel X-Treme Grease on the opto leaf. This happened to me once and a little lube is all it took.
