id love to play for you all, why not just have a 7 man team with some alts and hit the nppl? or a few 5 mans, and do PSP (enter more than 1 team), it would be lotta fun, + its not hard to get sponsors if your organized. Draxxus, Nelson, Severe, PMI will give you discounted paint, it all depends on how much you order a year. Then, for financial/travel aid you can look into companys outside the industry. I have a BIG company that is interested in sponsoring the team im on right now, when I say BIG, I mean... everyone sees or hears this companys name, everyday! They have a company providing the same products that they provide that will NOT sponsor teams. But this company that is interested, says "We need a 5-10 minute video of some games that youve playd", then we will watch this video at an executive meeting, and make our decision. So it wouldn't be hard to get cash for Air Travel, Hotel Stay, Van/Car Rental, nppl/psp entry, paint. Full ride guyz... not saying it should happen, thats not my decision, but its an ideah to look into! And by the way, I live 1 hour south of columbus, ohio! I play with a C&C LCD, freak, and conquest air. My life is 150% dedicated to the sport of paintball, I love this sport more than I love life itself. I play back center off break, then shoot up the right side (most of the time), because I love front soo much, I play my game cool and make sure the times right to get up there.
Let me know if you guys ever need an extra guy for a tourney in OHIO, Indianna, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, or Kentucky... id be more than happy to play for you all. (and if you are ever looking to go NPPL or PSP, get ahold of me) im willing to tryout...
You can see the team that I currently play for (some pics and vids of me are on the site) at http://www.teamfriction.com

right, i know that... throw togather teams normally dont cut it anyhow.. So its best to find 7 or so guys to play STEADY on the team. Hope you didnt mis-interpret my post, i didnt mean to have a crap load of players... i think you should have tryouts...

hey throw togther teams dont turn out that bad all the time... the last 3 or 4 tournies ive played in i played w/ throw togther teams .... IAO being one of them and id say we did ok for never meeting each other before that, and the others we took 4th and 3rd ... so it could work .. but you would have to pay for everythign like stated before dont look for sponsorships on throw together teams.

its hard to get a team that plays all the time when your hundreds of miles apart... and there sint enough locals who want to do it.

with my experiences a good team needs to practice often, not only once every few months and they need a caption that listions and doesnt get pissed at team members giving suggestions to improve the team. and remember teams arent instantly good, it might take an ORGANIZED practice or 2 to get used to eachother.

yea its kind of upsetting..teams are supposed to be like family, not big fights when someone has some input on the team. that doesnt keep team members around long.

I'm sure with all the ballers on AOG from MA we could start a NE division.
