i need to "patch" my software

ricker told me i needed to patch my software well i think i found out how to connect to the ir3 (i was wondering what the infared was for) but i dont know what the patch is and where to find it i looked on the wdp site link in hte other thread but all i could find there was the program and player profiles

ok i tried the patch on my ir3 but nothing is helping i really need to know what to do
