Hmmm... I live on the East side just South of Fox Valley. I know that some of the guys from Havoc and Damage Inc. live in A-town out by you...

The Damage Inc. team's are very good to play against and practice with. They literally just run right through us... It's kind of embarrassing, but it just goes to show how bad my team is... It's still fun and it's definitely a learning experience.

I know I must have gone against them at some point. If they are who I think they are then yes I agree with you they are a good team to play against. I'm tired of showing up at fields when there are only kids who don't like to get shot It's so lame. :cry:

I use a Black Dust Angel Speed, and over the past summer had made about 7 visits to the Badlandz. I just bought my 13 year old son a Angel Speed for X-Mas and he was able to test it out at CCPaintball 2 weeks ago. Looking forward to some better weather, so that we can start hitting the Badlandz. Sundays are my best bet, since my son plays travel baseball and spring hockey as well.
Here's my setup:

Angel Speed - Black Dust
Iron Cross Ball Detents - Silver
Scion 68/500 regulator - 250-300 psi
SS Freak Back, w/ Freak Jr Barrel

I'm a short/stocky guy with dark hair, and I play with the only blue F4 that I've seen around here... My teammate plays with an Orange F4, and a few others play with A4's and Speeds. I have 2 other Speeds and a Rat Impulse that I occassionally play with. Our team is Magnus Effect, and we rarely wear our jersey's...we play very few tournaments and seldom practice (due to busy work schedules).

The few times we go to Fox we'll usually play a practice round or 2 after you guys are done doing your drills. We are usually around the CenterFlag employees or Team Uprising. You probably don't remember us because it's like a 30 second game, and we run off the field with our tails between our legs... Seriously you guys are good. The problem we face is that since we are all busy working we can never get a solid 7-10 guys to practice/play on a regular basis...

In any event, everyone that I have met on Havoc and Damage Inc. are class guys and never give us grief for how bad we are... It's always a fun time, hopefully we can get a team going to at least stay on the field a little longer than we usually do...

HE bought a teammates broken lcd, the board fried, and put nerobro's IS board in it, as well as ace. Right now it needs an exhaust valve, but he's using his dark ir3.
Damage is a great bunch of guys, I like them because they are all honest and jokesters. Whenever we play some of the other teams there it always seems like they are arrogant and assholes. We say great game and walk off, they say "you played on" or "you guys wipe," typical BS. Were you there on saturday? Wone was there and we beat them 2 out of 2 in 7 man. I think i remember seeing a a couple force 4's around, specifically at the air station. How do you know jared?

The main field we play at is Challenge Park in Joliet, but we're starting to go to other fields...

We both own upgraded Tippman A5. I own an 05 Speed, and he's thinking about getting a TonTon Shocker or a Karnivor soon.

I avoid CPX as much as possible, unless it is a private outing. They probably have some of the worst field paint and refs in the area, but I have to admit some of the senario fields are amazing to play on.

If you live on the South side you should be playing in Badlandz, it's BYOP and it's a lot closer to you.

Anyways, tell me when you go up there next. We are going on May 15th for a private outing...and I think we are going to play at Take Aim Paintball in Darien this weekend.

If your buddy is looking for an Impulse I have one for sale. It is totally tricked out! I have a hopper and HPA tank to go with it... It has a WAS board and shoots ropes of paint.

HEP!!! Hey buddy how are you doing??? Yeah I have been out of the scene for a while. I was getting burnt out of paintball with all these kids wiping, and then calling other people cheaters...you know how that goes. Plus I was getting overshot with all these kids with ramp boards and them thinking it's funny. It doesn't look good going to court with paintball marks on your neck and arms... HAHAHAAHA!!!

Oh and plus my wife and I had our 3rd baby, so I
had to take a straight 9 to 5 job doing employment law for a place on the north side of Chicago...my law partner/paintball buddy decided to bail out of the worker's comp thing and took a job with the city of Chicago...and then my buddy Sammo up and quit CenterFlag and now works at American Paintball Supply, so there went our main sponsor!

Anyways, I'm getting my Force4 upgraded with the AngelEyes and am just waiting for Eric Bratten to finish it up. If he does a good job I'll probably have him do my old Speed...but I'll probably pick up a G7 by then.

What's new with you? It seems like forever since I heard from you. My wife said you called during Chicago Open last year and I honestly tried to call back at the number you left, but I never heard back from you. How long were you in town for? Yeah i know most players busts my chops about not going to badlandz, or other parks. But we're going to start, now that my CPX pass is over. I won't be going back to CPX till the MXS game in late june.

I told him, he should go buy an Angel but he doesn't want to copy me.....Hell i can't blam him if he buys a angel, they're the Best markers you can buy...... :cheers: But the two markers he has picked out are no joke either.

I wish i could get out this weekend, i would meet up with you....I like meeting other older standup paintball players..(read your last post) I hate cheaters! The last guy that wiped on me, got 20+ ball bonus. I didn't stop shooting him till he was off the field...lol jk

We usually get anywhere from 15-25 people.

I like Speedball, but will occassionally play woodsball to mix it up. There are always 1-3 newbs, so that is why we mix it up so they can at least try everything the first time out.

We usually play from 8:30am to 3pm.

No laughing at Tippman stuff, heck there will be some rentals in our group.

Don't feel "conflicted"... We changed the outing date to Sunday May 15th.

Yeah Sorry about that, I'm in a situation of sorts I don't think you'll believe me if I told ya, but I lost control of half of my face on sunday. Don't ask why or how, I'm still spooked as all hell and I don't see a doctor till thursday. Hopefully it was just a small spasm or seizure of some sort. you should have seen it though as funny as it is. I looked like i was scowling at everyone and people were like weirded out. :-)

Damn is that when you are coming up, Memorial Day weekend?!?!? I'm up in Milwaukee next weekend with my family! Uh oh! When are you coming back up here??? I definitely owe you a few drinks. My team hasn't played a tournament in a year, everyone is getting married and having kids right now... But if you are going to Badlandz on a Sunday there will be plenty of teams to scrimmage with...and plus you don't need to shoot up a bunch of old hacks like me.

I got my Force4 back from Eric at All-Star, it works real, real nice...and so I sent my Speed in to get converted.

Yeah the MTs Eyes are a must and make your gun a new machine. I havent had one problem with either of the 2 I had done. Anyways I didnt realize that was Memorial Day weekend until you said that but we will be up there again I will just hollar at you.
