My gun (99 LED) leaks I think from the noid. I am not sure if it is the noid, but it is coming from that area. (I dont have an angel tool to open the gun up with)

When I screw in my tank and gas the gun up it starts to leak. I am afraid to screw the tank in all the way because a lot of air comes out with just a couple turns. Also the gun doesn't cycle at all but the noid still clicks.

I think what happened is my reg overpressurized suddenly to about 700psi, which I wouldnt think is good for the gun...

Can someone please tell me what their thoughts are?

Thanks a lot. I dont want my gun to die!!! :cryer:

It could be just a gasket. You won't know until you take the noid out poke around. At least it still clicks, that's a bonus.

Could it be possible that your vavle is stuck open? Maybe a brass shaving stuck in there and holding it open? You can take the backplate off without a angel toolkit, see if the air is blowing around in the back there, or if its coming out in the breech area.

I had the same problem with my LED but I had taken my solenoid apart and put one of the parts on wrong. Its hard to tell whats leaking because you dont know where the leak is. I would advise taking the noid out and checking the orings around it. As well remove the ram and check the orings on it. I know you dont have a tool kit to take the ram out but if you got a sturdy pair of C Clip pliers then you should be able to remove it. Before I got my tool kit I modified a pair of needle nosed pliers to fit in there. It scratches the ram up rather bad but it gets the job done. Oh and to take the noid out remove the grub screw on the top of the body that is holding the noid in place then you can grab that brass piece sticking out from the solenoid with pliers and slowly pull it out.
