the actual trigger it self is stiff adjust the wheels to your likeing which is very easy and play with the toe screw.

set your TR to between 12 & 15, once you have set your trigger to your liking. If that creats too much bouce, then lower it a little.

Remember, a bouncing trigger is NOT tournament legal.....

Raising the TR will reduce bounce. If you get bounce then raise it, not lower it.

My TR was at 1 as well and I haven't had any bounce on it. I raised it to 4 just in case.

Polecat, those were the settings recommended to me by Jon. You know he's the man......

Sorry about the error, Polecat is right, you need to go upwards if your getting bounce... :again:

People are gonna be really tweeking these triggers, just like they did with the 4.

That's what I was recommended and it worked perfectly this weekend. I do have my trigger set close though, I don't like a sloppy trigger.....

Not questioning the settings, just passing on my info. :tunes:

I have to admit I never take other peoples settings/ideas/info as gospel. I like to make my own judgements. A lot of people run Ken's settings as suggested but I found putting the dwell at 15 instead of 17 worked better for me (better efficiency). Spending a few hours tweaking always pays dividends in the long run.

I suggest setting the trigger feel how you like it, then adjusting the TR to stop any bounce. Every marker and trigger setup will require difference settings.

I'm sure i'm an idiot for this but.... TR? What does this mean and how do you set it? What exactly does it do? Is it obvious that I am new to the Angel scene? I couldn't be happier w/ mine. Thanks for any info.

Trigger Response... it's like debounce but for the Angel. Essentially the lower the setting the more 'bounce' you'll get. Thus a really short trigger pull and a TR of say 1 will most likely result in the marker going full auto off of one trigger pull. However with the same pull and TR of 20 (or less) you might only get one shot per pull.

Sparco, thanks for such a simple answer, put it into terms I could easily get and didn't leave me w/ a new question. I'm goin to try some things out. Thanks again.

ND... no problem. Sometimes spitting out manual jargon does nothing but create more questions from a simple question. A good rule of thumb when adjusting the trigger is the following:

- Back the TOE completely out and turn the TR to 20
- Set your trigger pull and return using the wheels
- Set the TOE to where it cycles at a speed you're comfortable with when firing
- Set the TR as low as it'll go until the marker goes reactive

Whoa! Its good to see it all spelled out every now and then in plain english. trying to figure out how fast I can get that printed so its easy to remember.

Clown the key is setting the trigger and TOE before the TR. Especially with the way tournament directors have been cracking down on trigger bounce. It's the TR setting that's going to give you the most grief with bouncing.

I've had my trigger set so short that even 20 would get a bit bouncy if I tried hard enough. Likewise with TR 1, I once set the trigger out a bit longer... one pull and it emptied a full eVLution II!

... I wish I had the vc running for that one.

- Set your trigger pull and return using the wheels
...
Excellent guide. Just wanted to expand on that; for setting the wheels, I find this procedure best:
- Set wheels to desired settings.
- Back out each wheel (make the trigger sit further forward and the return more "sloppy") by one "tick".
- Tighten lock screws on both sides.
- Squeeze the trigger, hard, several times, so that it gets "worked into" its new position.

Then adjust toe screw and TR. I've found that if skip the last step of that procedure, I can produce a gorgeous trigger pull that will fade after about 100 shots; with that step, it'll last until I choose to change it.
