First off you remove the grip frame. You need to remove the Skinz grip on the left side - I usually take the whole thing off - but you need to disconnet the two red wires. As you look at the top of the grip frame, there will be two set screws, those are the trigger stop screws. Screw those out a bit to adjust the after travel and the pre travel. Once you have shortened it, you need to re-connect the wires and press the frame against the body and pull the trigger, you should see the LED light up if the trigger is not too short. If it is too short you need to make it a tad longer until you see it actuate the board. With those two set screws, you can get a pretty sweet trigger pull, but further adjustment with the TOE screw will make it shorter. But adjusting that too much can mess up the leaf and ultimately screw up the board. Hope this helped a bit and I was clear enough.

Gently pull the wires out, just remember where they all go and yes pull the green and black.

manual page 32-33.

First screw on top sets return stroke

Second screw on top sets trigger stopping point

Toe screw sets opto leaf spring position.

You can use a little flat-head screwdriver to GENTLY pry against the white plug on the end of the wires. That way you don't have to tug on the wires themselves (which could eventually loosen their connections).

When you're testing the trigger pull, be sure to push the frame against the body completely. If there's some slack between them when you're testing (like you just held them together loosely), the pull won't be the same after you re-attached the frame to the body. And then you'll be annoyed you spent all that time futzing with your trigger for nothing.

I don't usually unplug the wires from the board to make trigger adjustments, but that's just me. Seem like the danger of damaging the wires is greater from constantly detaching and reattaching them. You just have to be careful to keep the body and frame close together while you're adjusting things.

Ehh, I used tug because not many people have the clamp tool that they have at radio shack in order to pull connectors like that. That's what I use, it clams down onto the neck of the plastic connector part, then you pull. No tugging on the wires. :bigok:
