How often do you charge it in the first place? I charge mine every other time I play. Plus I leave my 4 on all day in safe when I do play, and I've never had any problems with the battery.

Well, the battery I believe is good for 150,000 shots between charges.

The manual SAYS it's good for 150K shots. Mine went dead after about 10,000 once. The battery meter read full, and then it died. I think every other time you play is about right, but more often if it sits for a long time. NiMH batteries will slowly discharge as they sit around. For sure give it a full charge before a touney, just to be safe.

If mine sits a week or two between playing in the winter, I charge before every time I play.

my friend's showed it was really low like 25% charge and it was [retty accurate cus after the day of play it died, and he went thru about 2 or 3 cases that day and had major FSDO

Wish mine would do that. Any battery reading except 100% means 'you have about 5 minutes before I stop working...'.

Funny you should bring this up now. I was wondering about the battery meter (I have yet to see one work on an Angel) on my Speed and I decided to try and drain it. After having it on for 3 days and constantly walking the trigger while watching tv it is still at full. It has shut its self off several times already and the solenoid is barely audible.

Had the same thing happen to me last night, I wanted to run it down and then give it a full charge my battery meter read full then it just shut off on me.

Had a break through! It finally dropped to half. Although in it's current state it is completly useless with the battery this low and the high voltage noid.
