OK this might sound like a noob question but anyways.. I have a "99" Dark Angel and I see most all if not all of the new angels ahve VOLUMIZERS on them either 1 or 2 of them? I want to know exactly what they would do for a gun? Also, would they help my gun in anyway?
From what I have read and I'm not sure if I am right, But I hear they either help lower the pressure, or help make the gun shoot straighter? If it does help the pressure, In what way does it help my Angel? Does is make my gun use less air when I fire it?
I'm confused, thank you for the help...

The volumizer won't do anything for a LED except make it look better. The Speeds and A4's are the only guns that the volumizer will help drop the pressure in. So if you want a volumizer it would be for cosmetics only.

Ok, thanks alot. I thought I heard that a long time ago. That's why I never got one. But this eclipse angel I just bought has on on it and I was wondering if it was giving it any kind of advantage. but I guess it's not..

So, All the volumizers on all these lcd's ir3's and such are not helping these guns at all? I guess it's only adding weight, looks..

I do believe that the volumizers increase the volume of the air inside the chamber for the solenoid, so it doesnt decrease the the operating pressure but it will allow for a better recharge rate. I am inclined to disagre with the purley cosmetic aspect of them.

With the volumizer on anything other than a Speed or A4, you might get an extra 3-5 shots if that when you degass the gun, but it won't drop the OP of the marker unless it's a Speed or A4.
