ive got a buddy who has one in red. theyre nice but they arent out yet. nothing really special about them though like the dye jerseys or anything. its basicly just a jersey. no pads or anything. still pretty cool though.

I think last years Dye Joy tops looked better, the leopard print looked a lot better IMHO. Also, that V neck looks a little 'loose'. Still keeping my fingers crossed they win HB though ;)

yes that is a Halo, and yes the Fly is supposed to fix the problem with stiffer detents and no sensi to break. Although I don't know why they would have a halo with no batteries set up on the gun....

The point is the v-neck shown on Max is very baggy, look how far it comes down. If you don't wear another layer underneath there would be a fair bit of your neck exposed.

I like v-necks but I would like the v-neck to be further up, like every other v-neck paintball top on the market :wall:

Anybody know for sure if this is true?

Finally if the pic. isn't big enough for anybody to read the writting below the jersey it reads, "internal dimensions permit the use of league sanctioned padding" what exatcly are they referring to? The big chest protect thing you can buy from Redz or JT or whomever makes them, or something else?

if they stopped the yellow it was probably because it's a protected color in the NPPL, as is Orange.

yes protected...as in not allowed because they were meant for Refs and paint colors. If you've been following the national scene for more than a few seasons you'll remember that they tried to put a stop to teams using jersies that not only were similar to the refs jersey, but also made of the same colors as paint to hide hits.

check out the NPPL rules thread it has a pdf file to the rules and it simply states what colors are not allowed...yellow and orange.

The original stink about the colors came about the same time as the stink about hopper stickers.

i cant see that being a reason for them to stop making the pants though. dye makes their C4 pants in yellow and they have a lot more yellow than the angel ones do. im sure the whole pants thing is a rumor. my shop had a pair on order but we canceled it an they didnt mention anything about them being discontinued. i do know that they are somewhat of a hard to get item. maybe thats it.

All I can tell you is what I got. I wear a 32 in all sizes of jeans and I got my WDP pants in medium. They are adjustable, and I am going to pull them in alittle bit on the side. If I was a 30 I would go for a Small, but on the inside of the pants it says 30/32, but I would still go for a small. Also for those that own the pants, does the waist in them rub your skin harsh. I think when I play with them I am going to wear another shirt under my jersey and stick that shirt in my pants. I couldn't wear them with out a shirt seperating the pants from my skin.

the waist band is a little rough, but I wear a pair of shorts underneath so I can take my pants off at the end of the day anyways.

I'm 6'5" and even the large pants seemed a little short for me...then again just about all paintball pants do. My DYE Proto pants are the XL so that they fit me in the length. I've got a 36" waist and the WDP pants fit me fine in the waist with the use of the draw straps.

how can they be generic if they're made by the same company??? They're still DYE. The pants we got were pretty good, and it's not like they are cheaply made. It seems that DYE decided to relabel last years line with some changes and called it the Proto line. Maybe they wanted to have 2 lines of products so that people could still wear their stuff without paying $130 for pants etc.

The end of the sleeve is just an elastic band that rubs against your wrist, its more annoying than anything and could have been done a little better (Going paintballing tmr and should get used to it). I have a custom made team jersey and the end of the sleeves are a strechy cloth that is more confortable. Don't really know how to explain it but when you get yours you'll see. But once again for the price its great, plus you get to support your favorite company :biggthump

there is really no cuff, its just a thin band of elastic. Since you wear your gloves under it shouldnt be a problem so dont worry about it, plus the jersey is great and well worth the cost. And the blue looks tight...

Tryed it today, worked great, very confertable and has good ventalation. For Houston heat this thing was great. Its not as material-like as JT (thinner), but I havent tryed an Evil so I dont know if it is that thin. The elastic was great with gloves under it, never moved from where you put it, great stuff (wish I had know before I said it was annoying :wall: )

The Gloves are nice, no break in required. Better than most gloves I have tried (empire, evil, and dye), as for JT Gloves, have never tried them but I can almost guarentee that the WDP gloves are as if not more confertable.
