Darks the caps are put back on for a reason. Ever have 300+ bottles with beer residew sit around for a couple weeks? Now I like the smell of beer and all, but thats just too much. So the caps go back on untill recycling time (we are saving untill we can by a two-four).

It does not remove rust. It removes run rust which is the residual drop off that rust leaves. There is a huge difference between rust and run rust.

Have you personally tried this? Saying that is like saying you will die. But how long? Why dont you do a study and see how long it takes to dissolve that penny and show us your findings. I say it will take weeks if not months.
