Well our man Emmit made it there in one peice. The same can't be said for Ken Crane evidentally. Just got off the phone with Emmit and Ken has the worst luck! One of his shuttle buses he was on liked the ditch more than the road! Ken made it though in one peice.

How do you read the scores? There are 7 columns listed but I thought they played best two out of three. I guess that is why you only see scores in two or three fields, but what are the others for?

Do you only play one round a day?

How does the prelims work? Is it single or double or elimination? Or do they just play x games and then the top y teams based on points get to advance to the finals?

Emmit's team posted a 12 in the 3rd game and a 98 in the 4th game. He said that they were having gun/hopper problems. Just got done talking to him on the phone.

He also stated that Rocky is playing with Brimstone, but shooting an Angel.

You play 8 games, the top 16 scores from your division move onto semi-finals. It's then divided 4 groups of 4 teams, you play each team once with the top score from each set moving onto finals. Then it's down to 4 teams with the highest tally after 3 more games... winning.

I remember Emmit telling me that he was worried about gun problems, more so with his teammates and that they were bringing multiple rigs to eliminate this issue. Hopefully they get it worked out tomorrow, they took a real bad confidence buster today.

According to Emmit, one of his teamates DM4 went down and had problems at the chrono and the field. A LCD was all screwed up running at real high pressures. Another teammate had his e-blade at the tent all day long trying to be fixed. Someone's Halo went down and without the rip drive he was sticking his hand in there to try and feed the balls. Emmit finally lost his sensi after over 45k shots.

As you can see by the scores, they looked good when everything was running OK, for that one game. He said that the 1st game they played, they had 3 gun problems right off the bat.

Hopefully everything will be up and running tomorrow for them.

Emmit update: They scored a 97 and then a 6 with one more game remaining later tonight at 6pm PST. He aslo mentioned that Rage tore up Dynasty and the Fly 4's are selling like they are going out of style!

They finish up with team epic that doesn't have many points on the board. A big max (95+ points) could skirt them in at the bottom of the 16.

Ken has something new in the works for a A4 and it ryhmes with bigger. Emmit sported one today and his A4 just ripped! 28 bps no prob! And its not an eye.

The weather was awsome till late in the day around 3 or 4pm the wind started blowing in hard, I know for a face one of the bunkers on the Angel field came unhooked and started flopping over, the guy who was in that bunker was having hard time staying covered so the ref went and held the bunker up. Some sand kicked up but not much, and more than a few skirts were blowing upward.

the NPPL field was delayed for almost an hour by the time we got to our game, it was quite dark, and we were all glad for clear lenses and the field lighting.

We had a lot of the Texas teams in the stands for that one, and I want to personally thank Ken, I heard him hollering my name a couple of times.

Thanks to those on the board that were watching out for us.

I'll be back at the field tomorrow and will have plenty of pics. I believe I have my AOG shirt still with me, and I'll wear it tomorrow so that's how you'll find me if you do.

Arsenal lost the first to ND because one of the Arsenal guys shot his own player in the back of the head as he was going up to finish off the last ND.

Game 1 - Avalanche sends two to the dead box right away, and Fraige of Dynasty goes off, too. Dynasty moves into excellent field positioning and slowly advances on Avalanche. With only three guys left, Avalanche is still looking strong, although they'll be lucky to make it through this match alive.

Sure enough the Avalanche snake goes down and their 30 is soon to follow. Dynasty advances as a team and takes the flag for a game one victory.

Game 2 - Dynasty is moving up the field in their usual dominating manner. Sure enough before two minutes is even done, Dynasty has the Pro Division Championship.

Damn. Dynasty does it again. Those kids are crazy good. I just read the final scores and Im sad that someone wasnt able to stop these kids from WDP. Hopefully Lanche and Arsenal will stop to an end to dynasty reign. I though Lanche was going to take them since they were leading in the prelims. Damn. Almost. Still dont give SP props though. I give all the credit to dynasty and none to SP.

matter of fact I was talking to some of the guys from Arsenal just before the game, and they were like "Watch us as we get ready to go beat those ex Angel users" was certainly cheering for Arsenal this event.
