just seein if anyone else did this. when ever my team plays we have about 2 dozen speed pods between all of us that we give to the back players. so if any of the front or mid guys run low they can toss the speed pods instead of the standard ones cause with the speed pods you dont have to worry about the lids popping open. you dont need the collar to open them incase anyone who isnt familar with them is wondering. just thought id share our thing we did an curious to see if anyone else did it. you should try it. im done.

Hey Brad, I know this off the topic. But are there any fields, that you know of, around Gettysburg, PA or Emmittsburg, MD?

thanks.

not quite sure really. i know in the poconos theres the well know skirmish, they host a lot of local events for a bunch of other fields, jack frost, ummm.. global, i recently heard of one in lancaster called outlaw paintball. hope that helps. those are really the only fields i can think of off the top of my head in that direction. hope that helps

the lid popping open would be my least concern. i use anarchy and if you toss a pod full of it youll end up with a pod full of busted balls.

i just carry all my pods with me. if i shoot more than a hopper and 2 pods in 3 man or a hopper and 4 pods in 5 man as a front man im doing something wrong.

also my back player wouldnt be real happy with me making him carry my paint!

Jeremy is correct. I worry more about the ball busting inside the pod instead of the lid coming open. I've seen it happen all too many times. Anyway I have never had problems with the lids coming open on my FatBoys.

my fatboys dont open nearly as much as my pj pods (which i thought were fatboys when i bought them) . i have 2 speed pods with this lining inside them to not let ball break but i never throw them to front players... i just think they look cool.

some of our front guys shoot more than they should. and its not like theyre carring 5 extra pods with them. jeez i didnt think i would be ridiculed. just kidding. but no, we have some trigger happy front guys i think its a good way to solve it. plus our one back guy was the one that thought of it so it was like oh ok if your willing to i dont see why not. and its all in the pitch, if you throw them side ways instead of end over end theyre less likely to break. i think weve only had 1 or 2 have broken balls.

I know the pods are made to be tossed and all, I did the same thing you were talkin about (throwin them) and all, mine shattered, I was sooo pissed. Anyways, jyust be careful/\

yeah I'd have to say as a back guy if I'm carrying a pod I'm shooting it....I carry 9 pods as it is, where would I carry an extra pod just in case you need it???:dunno:
