Well, the first time played with the egg, the damn thing fell off like 5 times, then i tightened the neck, and... it fell off again, does that mean i need to sand it down a tad?

Also, It does not work so well with the JT speed pods, Warped was liek this revvy is better... and theres no neck for it... ARG!

So in the end do i just need a new harness and pods too?

Thx.

sanding it would help, but i would recommend that you buy a check-it clamping rise. it has never given me a problem.

Speed pods work w/ the Egg, you just can't use the speed collar. I wouldn't buy new stuff. Anyway, you can fit a few extra balls in there w/ the shape of the lid. I second that emotion on the clamping rise - I don't have any problems w/ my Egg to marker fit w/ mine.

I think Wared gave me sa clamping rise, the A4 one, has red inserts and stuff... but is the check it one better?

Thx

i actually think it is, my experience with twist locks is a long and horrible tale

Use the smaller o-rings that came with your gun and you will be fine as far as using a Egg and it should bottom out then. I used them and had zero probs. Although I did cut down the feedneck on the Evo since it had more than enough room to cut down heigth wise. But like said before I switched to a Check-it clamping low rise and I likes.

ya the a4 clamping feed was a bad design the orings get all out of aline and plus it doesnt clamp down very tight at all. go with the checkit for sure i love mine!

If it's loose and falling out why sand it and make it smaller? Never had a problem with my twist lock feedneck. As Hep said, you need to use the extra o-rings that are marked (mine were marked with a yellow dot) so the egg fits properly. If it's slightly tight, just put a little Love Juice on the rings and it should slide right in.

but you gotta admit that a lo-rise does look better on an angel

I'm not saying that a low rise looks better or worse. I'm just saying that the twist lock works for me so there's no need for me to change it.

Thog, it wasnt an issue of being to small as to it being too big, I think, it would go, just not as much as I would have liked it too! But i will check ou the check it stuff, i already got a drop from them... so more sounds fine.
