What if I lower the LPR pressure below 50? Would that be bad?

I've read that the fly LPR can be lowered below 50. I've been having some problem with breaking paint and after talking to Ken, I've lowered my LPR a little which seemed to help a little. Can I lower it even further without creating other problems?

Well, as far as I can tell, you can lower your lpr pressure as long as your angel will still cycle correctly.

Meaning, that if the lpr pressure is too low, the air pressure will not be sufficient to move the ram (and hammer and bolt) forward and then back again. Also, if the hammer hits the exhaust valve with too little force, there won´t be enough air coming througth the valve to propell the ball properly. Even if you set the dwell to half an hour! ;)

I believe that the point at which the A4 will stop cycling correctly will differ from angel to angel, as it depends on how smooth the parts move inside (how many shots have been fired, is it well oiled, are there scratches in the bolt and breech...).

my lpr is at 30 something and it works fine (for an angel anyways...)

Enough "What Ifs", try it and see what happens! You won't break the gun, and you'll only get smarter after figuring out what happened.
