2004 Rules for Super 7

hey what's up with the no clear loaders after july 31st. if anyone knows holler back.

it's because refs were having a hard time seeing hits on the loader when the paint inside was the same color...

say you're using a pink shelled paint, and they are shooting pink and you get hit in the hopper the pinks blend in and the ref can't tell you've been it, and since you didn't really feel it you keep playing....not a good thing.

Just dye it a different color, that's an option.

can you use a smoke evoII or is that the same as clear? or can you not use either?

yes you can use the smoke...

the loader can be see through, it just can't be clear as in like the clear Halo's and clear Evlutions.

I just soaked my hopper in blue dye for about an hour and it came out real nice, and I made sure when I was in HB that it was legal and they said yes.

not a bad point, but most pods arent as clear as hoppers are and pod shots arent as common as hopper shots, but yea they will probably include it later on if they realize it's a problem

actually there is a lot of pods that are perfectly clear...

I have some updates... 1. No you can not use a smoke hopper because it states that it has to be a solid color..and if you read that right it says "this rule will be inforced UNTIL July 31st...So at the end of this month the rule is gone...

where did you get that from?

i've seen plenty of pics of people using color tinted clear hoppers...

go to the rules on nppl.tv and go to the section where it talk about gear and hoppers...

the definition of clear is Crystal Clear. Tinted hoppers are perfectly legal.

Well just so you know..I had emailed the NPPL and the person said it had to be a solid colored hopper..but since theres pics on the web site of poeple using them,then i cant argue..

having just got back from San Diego I heard nothing of either of these rumors that have sprung up over night. So let's just let them die.

I let my rumor well my thought die a while ago and there no 20 bps cap at nppl...some of the fastest guns i have seen have been at nppl events..

take some rit dye (carpet dye) and heat it up on the stove. Then dunk plastic pieces in to dye them. Same way you dye annodized parts.

what about the pink paint or orange paint rule, or the pink or orange marker rule? (cuz i got a burnt orange force)
