anyone seen this yet? Since Bob's store is like 20 mins from me, my friend bought a Alias Timmy 2 months ago, but it was crap. IT does weigh like 1.9 lbs which is super light. But supposively it had problems, solenoid was leaking, had other many problems so he sold it. Again, thier store service is crap, they claimed my friend broke the parts etc and it ended up costing a few hundred to fix. total bs.. so now i duno what hes gonna do i keep tellin him though to get a A4.

Sounds good, hope he wont encounter the problems my friend did.. to me, I see timmys everywhere, I personally think they are too long, too much. my friend even said to me * the one who bought it* said they arent as made as well

well the issue of getting it to work wont be a problem as long as its not a defect that makes it impossible to work right. The timmy i had was a wreck when i got it but w/ a bit of work it worked great. *** But we wont tell people i used to shoot a timmy *** ;)
Its kind of odd, we've had the length discussion before about how timmy's look / feel long. But really if you set one on top of an angel there isnt much difference. I was suprised to see that. But i do agree with you if not setup to your liking they do feel long.
Guys dont get the wrong idea -- im not supporting timmy's. But at the same time i wont bash them. I feel they can be a good gun along with many other guns. Im still true to the angel --- for the most part :)

the body design is just too plain to me, they were all flat and long. it just seemed more bulky that way. but ya the alias is a good body trim, cut the fat kinda thing, reg has moved closer to the body.
angel 4 got a little too in the end. What I dont like is the *eyes* eyes are Infared LED's which can get dirty.. thats why i like the sensi better, it needs a physical presensence of a paintball to be able to shoot.
I like the shape of the Angel anyways, more curvy but with sharp areas that make it an angel. One thing I didnt like when I was at bob's store his son was fixing someones timmy and i saw all those tubes, almost looked like a cocker! with all those tubes in there..

theres really only a couple tubes, but your right it does bring back bad memories of cockers. The reason it looks like a lot of tube is because one pretty much runs the length of the body.
As far as the alias goes, i havent got a chance to see the internals to see if anything changed.

well i never had the reg to far from the gun or whatever, reason why is, i have big hands...i can hold the whole gun, frame to reg np, when i hold a angel4 my hands wrap around the gun from frame to reg. so i don't have a problem with that, just kind funny looking if you see me holding one. other then that i love both guns and how they feel, just gotta get my hands on a fly4 or force4.

the alias has a ton of problems with it, of the new timmy generation, i'd say the warped timmy or the Naughty Dawgs will be the nicest

stock timmies have always had problems like that...thats one reason i went angel....but a nemesis if anything, cheaper and better

That alias is a pretty nice marker. That frenzy board is amazing, they're light too, also the accuracy is pretty good. I believe I saw two or three of em on the field today. Got a buddy of mine who's planning on getting one. They're a good marker, that is if you are into timmys.
