I'm going to try one at the tech class in April but I will not be picking one up. Instead I'm hoping to pick up two gently used Speeds for the same price that the Fly would have cost me. Heck, I've already seen an influx of "cheap, barely used" Speeds going.

I'll be needing a replacement/backup gun whilst my F4 is in getting the retrofit when it becomes available might as well get a fly - 'sides I won't have to buy a new different threaded barrel kit and accessories. I certainly hope they still leave the sensi system in place as a backup sensor system if the eyes ever did experience any problems.

I dont think it would be much more than the last one, b/c break beam eyes are not new technology, and I believe sensi was very expensive to produce.

The last one, I believe stock at the beginning was 1300.....then price right now is as low as 1100. My estimate on the price of the fly would be in the 1300 range....But that's just my guess based on my assessment, i'm probably wrong. The price is in a price range where people could buy it, but low enough for them to compete with other companies....I hope I can afford one :(

Its a great barrel tribal, very nice and no barrel compares to how light it is, doesn't fluctuate, ie as in expang due to weather, really accurate
9really helps for a good paint/barrel match mind u), and really, really quiet...possibly the best barrel out in the market...although some people may not like the looks. I think it looks fine.

I say 1400 would be more likely because wdp is going to have an ass load of complaints if the force 4 owners who paid 1250 for a force 4 are now having to spend 150 to 200 for a retro fit. I could be wrong but that is the glitch I forsee

WDP will not price their markers according to how the Force line is priced. They are not WDP badged markers and therefore do not fall into their pricing calculations.

I would love for it to be only 1300 but what would happen to the IR3's? They are going for about 1750 at some places I have seen. Is the Fly better then IR3? If not,... then the price for the IR3's are going to have to come down or WDP will prive the Fly around the same as the IR3. The Angel 4 is their base model for anyone who cant afford the Fly,... so theres basicallly something for everyone. Hmmm,... If the price for IR3's should come done what about A4/ F4? I dont realy wnat to pay as much as 1700. I would do 1300 in a heart beat,... 1300 is a good price seeing that it only has some light mods,... trigger $30, eyes atleast 30, fly board maybe a little more then the A4? I dont know,...
If you've found a place selling IR3's for $1,750, they must have idiots for a clientele (or they have serial # 1, or something).

Please don't turn this into a pricing-comparison thread (which is not allowed), but just to point out: A4's have an MSRP of $1,250 - $1,350 right now (based on color), and Speeds have an MSRP from $945 - $1,045 (again, based on color). And, yes, I know it's possible to get them cheaper, but that's the official WDP MSRP right now for those guns.

Well i could definately buy one right away if i wanted...but i just got the ir3 pimpin so ill tool around with that for a bit first i guess. That also gives me a chance to wait and see any future problems with the new fly (though i doubt there will be any). If one of my teammates gets one though...he'll probably con me into buying one asap :lol:

its hard to tell right now the force 4 will have eyes and sapositly more modes then the fly as well as better milling. However they both will use the same boards as will all angel eyed markers for right now so i dont knoe bout the modes. I guess its just personiel perferences

Take a look again, Performance Angel has them listed for $1395, not $1900. That's a $500 difference from what you had posted.

Yea it's not going to be 1900 it will be generally arround 1500 is the standard. And you aren't just paying for the Eyes they have a full meal deal for the Fly.

I really do think mine feels the best, but I like the speed 2nd. Five minutes after my local shop set it up for me, I hit 23BPS, at least thats what the gun said. I just love the thing, I think its worth the money.

The fly is nice but it doesn't have the nice lines like the 4. But noone will see the gun anyway because their goggs will be covered in blankets of paint.

He said that even if you DO break a ball in the chamber, the laser would literally burn through the shell and paint, so even if you do have a break you'd still be able to shoot, so the eyes arn't as easy to block.

And say your eyes do mess up during a game, just hold down the trigger for 2 secs and the eyes are disabled.

Only thing is that I'm a front player, and I don't want to mess up my new baby with superman slides...

it's not going to 'burn' through anything, it's not a laser....it is however supposed to be able to see through the dirt and debris that can cause other break beam eye systems to stop working.

Talked to Ken tonight,and he still has a couple of Fly's up for grabs from the first batch.I thought he said Blue,Red and maybe a pewter.Call him to double check.The blacks and JD's are gone for now. The new MT's sound sweet though.Polished Black with silver.It will be the most reguested,I'm sure.They are doing the orange again,and a Dust grey with dust black accents,that will be my choice,I think. No drawings or pics as of yet,but I did hear that the milling will be the trademark 3 swoop design,that will be similar.I guess there are other goodies to come.
