Maybe...
Using a HP Tank on an Angel is not the best for the Mini-Reg. The recommended Pressure going into the Mini-Reg is 450 PSI. A LP Tank would be alot nicer....

You could do the HP Mod to the Reg though.

You will prob have to do the mini reg mod. http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=373617 but after that it should run great.

You can usually get HP tanks reconfigured to be LP by changing around their stacks a little--ask your local shopmonkey.

A set of springs with holes in the middle through which a guiding rod is threaded (in the non-helical sense of the word).

Ask your shopmonkey to show you. :)

I did this mod to my reg a couple days ago. I havent been able to play yet to see if its good or not. My tank puts out 800psi, its an ACI bulldog 2. As far as i know the reg reads 200psi output. I'm not using a volumizer so i want to know if its good to go like is. I dont know what the lpr pressure is but i'm guessing it was originaly set for my tank. I just want to make sure its ok before i take it back to impact for a final look. Thanx guys.

LPR= Low Pressure Regulator. If you plan on adjusting that I suggest this: http://www.angel-owners.com/showthread.php?t=15119 but you need the tool kit to adjust it (strongly suggest picking one up)

I know what an lpr is. I just dont what its set at. And I'll just take it to my shop. I'm real good friends with mark and jim over at impact. gotta support the sponsors. thanx anyway.

the LPR should've been set from the factory to ~82 psi according to the manual. If you haven't opened it and changed it since you received it then that's where it should still be at.

i was wondering if you need to have a volumizer on after you do the mini reg mod that allows you to use an hp tank? also if anybody can help me and tell me what the settings should be after you do the mini reg mod

The minireg mod only allows you to 'properly' use a HP tank. If you want to lower the operating pressure of your angel, you still need to use a volumizer, otherwise you wont be able to drop the pressure without problems.

i have the largest volumizer on and the gun is working but when i try and walk the trigger it fires really funny! it sounds like it has alot of bounce, it almost soundsd full auto and i know i aint walking the trigger that damn fast. i adjusted the tr to 18 wondering if i can get some help on this

Try your TR at 18 and see what it's like. Having the TR at 18 is what is recommended from the factory, they found that it was the cleanest setting.

If you subsequently purchase an LP tank, you would want to undo the mini-reg mod.

This mod doesn't magically redesign the mini-reg as an HP input mini-reg; it just compensates some. Really, you'd be better off with the original configuration and an LP tank. That said, if you have an HP tank you like and you're dead-set against having your local shopmonkey change the tank's reg to be LP, this mod will cover you for using the HP tank on your A4.
