View Full Version : Air Leaking Through Exhaust

I have an air leak on my A4. It only happens when I first connect my air tank to the marker, after it has been degassed. Looking down at the gun with the breach opened, the gas is leaking out of the front right hole, which I assume is from the exhaust valve. I didn't have this problem until I set the marker up with a volumizer and lowered the pressure out of the minireg. As a matter of fact, if I turn up the pressure from the minireg, the leak will stop, or if I fire the marker a couple of times, it will stop.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Is it normal from the low pressure setup?? If not normal, what should I check???

it's the breaking in of the exhast valve. I commented on this in my review, and it's also been discussed a couple of other times.

Thanks Emmitt. I had lubed the exhaust with a few drops of angel love juice to no avail. Then I removed the exhaust piston and soaked the red bushing seal with oil, reassembled, and it sealed perfectly. I tried it several times, degassing the marker, then turning the gas on again, and the exhaust sealed perfectly. I guess the few drops I put in there just wasn't enough or didn't make it to where it was needed.
