I had to take my breach rods out of my AF Lcd (the two on the left hand side) due to the breach block not opening easily. I thought they just needed to be cleaned but they were bent (dont ask how I just got this thing)
So my question is....Does anyone know where I can get new breah rods (looked at the sponser's sites already but could not find them...and I cant call any of them do to my work schedule)?
and the second part of the questions is.....Is there a tool to take the rods out (i noticed they were threaded in one end)?
Thanks for any help.

call up Ken, or one of the other master techs, just because its not listed on their site doesnt mean they dont have it
and no it just pulls right out, the threads are for the breach knob

Well like I said do to my odd work schedule I wont be able to call for a couple weeks.
I was asking about the rods that the breach block hinges on(left side), not the rod that the breach knob goes on(right side). The end of them are hollow and threaded, thats way I was wonding if there was a special tool used to get them in and out.
Next chance I get I'll try to get a hold of one of the techs but till then I was just wondering if someone here knew.

Posting for Vantage, he is banned for posting too much:
"Go back to whipping your moms van darks
The TWO breech rods on the LEFT can be bought at the sponsors, the onlyone listed on the sites are for the LED.
And remove them like this.
Remove the two grub screws (4 BA x 1/4).
Remove one of the screws that holds the 14-way down in the marker.
Thread the 14-way screw into the end of the breech rod and use it to pull the rod out.
You may need to use pliers to yank on it, so you might wanna look into picking up a spare screw:
http://www.angelparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=100000998&Product_Code=14WGRSC
LCD/IR3 14-way retaining plate screw
Quantity in Basket: none
Code: 14WGRSC
Price: $1.45
*WARNING: realigning the breech can be a pain.
A way to do it correctly is to place the breech back in the slot on the marker and push the rods in. Then adjust the depth of the grub screws until it is tight enough to hold it, but loose enough to allow the breech to move.
Vantage out."
