There is an Allen Key fitting on the inside of the macro fitting. Just unscrew it.

wrap the reg in rubber, put it in a vice and use the appropriate allen key as suggested...if the allen key doesn't work, and since you're replacing it anyways...VICE GRIPS!

mine just recently blew out like 2 weeks ago, and i couldnt get it off for the life of me at the field, i even stripped the inner allen key part, doubt i was using a metric allen key, but it had a pretty good grip and it was held onto with a vice so it's no joke
anyways the only way i could get it out was to gut all the internals, put them in a safe place, then boil the reg and then just force it off with some pliers, it came off pretty easily once it was hot
i donno if they used red loctite or what, but it really did seem that way, because it was in there real good

take the reg apart and remove the internals and just heat it up with a torch. If it still wont come out might be time to get a new reg.

the macro-fitting in the mini-reg is one tough cookie to break off, never did get my old mini-reg macro off...just scratched it up pretty badly from the towels in vices, and now it just sits in my angel parts tool box, wait one day to be used again if the new mini-reg decides to die.
Send it in when you have to get your marker serviced, we use a special tool to remove it.
If you are not located near a service center, and do not have this tool, then the easiest way is to remove the velocity adjustment screw, stick a 4mm allen key in there to use as leverage. Then stick a 4mm allen key into the macro line fitting and turn. If it does not break free easily, do not force it. The macro line fitting is brass and very easy to strip out. Apply heat to the macro line fitting to break the seal, then use the allen key again. If you don't care about the macro line fitting, then a pair of good pliers should remove them pretty easily.

lol, same thing happened to me, except I just got fed up with mine and threw the whole minireg into the lake in our back yard after running over it with my truck, and then plenty of grinding and I used my cutting tortch on it. I hated that thing, I kept getting bad performance out of it, so I destroyed it and bought another stock reg exactly like the last one, only this one works.

The sponsors can't put everything on the sites, but they have them. Just drop them an e-mail and I'm sure that they will hook you up.
