When I pulled the spool and gased the gun I got a small piece of o- ring . The start of this was air leaking out the top vent on the gun.

Well, do you want the good news or the bad news. The good news is that air leaking out the top is a ram o-ring 90% of the time. The bad news is that a new spool costs $100(no way to replace the seals), but you probably already know that. To answer your question, you just need to remove the set screw on top, the seloniod(rear piece attached to your wiring harness), and just push on the plastic filler behind the bolt. The 14-way will just push out. Just replaced a spool yesterday. If it's been in there since new, it will probably be stuck pretty good. Good luck.

Thanks that was the information I needed . Ram o-rings were fine ,so looks like the $100.00 route for me . Thanks again

Have you thought about taking the 14-way apart and seeing if there is some debris or other "leak causing stuff" hanging out on the shaft inside the spool ?

also.....just so we have the correct names
The spool is the large silver or black thing that the 14-way parts are attached to. Usually when you have to repalce the 14-way you will get a complete assembly that looks like a larger LCD valve. You then remove the ends and the internal shaft and attach those to the huge spool.

Good luck and dont forget if it seems to difficult you have a full list of service centers at the top of this forum. These guys do this every day and can probably save you some headaches and $$
