i noticed today that when i dry fire my a4 (after calibrating sensi, going thru a hopper, ect.) it still shoots with sensi on. sensi test passes 10/10. i only got one chop out of 500 balls so not a huge problem but its still a little weird. im shooting in sensi 2.

with sensi 2 you will still be able to shoot when there is no ball detected, you will just get a little delay and then it will shoot, however because of the delay you will only get up to like 12 bps... or something like that, maybee i need to re-read the maunel

no JT with any mode of Sensi on the ROF is only limited by the LDS and the hopper. There's not a different ROF depending on which semi mode you're in.
As for the 13 thing...check the batteries in the hopper, or maybe just recalibrate it again. Also I've had days where no matter what I just couldn't seem to break the 13 or 14 BPS barrier...but then others where you can't stop me from breaking the 20+ barrier....Saturday was a perfect example, I was only getting about 14BPS all day, but on Sunday at some point in time I hit 27 BPS. Same batteries in the hopper so you'd think I shoulda been faster on Sat than Sun, but not the case this time:dunno:

That doesn't sound right, Emmit. In SEMI 2 or SEMI 4, if no ball is detected, a slight delay is inserted. If a ball is detected during the delay period, the shot is fired at that time, otherwise, the marker cycles at the end of the delay. Since that delay is a fraction of a second, in fully-calibrated SEMI 2 with no balls present, one should be able to fire several times a second.
Thoughts? Or did I miss something?

your mode of Semi does not determine the ROF the LDS and hopper choice do. Semi2 does not insert a delay on every single shot just to keep your ROF down, it inserts the delay when no ball is detected as necessary.
Are we confusing kiddies again???

They are talking about when there is no paint Emmit. The maximum delay before a clearing shot is allowed. SENSI 2 and 4 do indeed have a different time than 1 and 3 do for the maximum delay allowed.
Some other behavior I have noticed on 2 and 4 is that for the first 2-3 shots (without paint) I get the delays normally associated with the delay for the clearing shot, but then it just opens up and lets me fire at a much faster rate. This behavior is only on 2 and 4. SENSI 1 and 3 will maintain the 1 bps fire rate with no paint indefinately.

i didnt notice any delay on mine.. but i guess if its only a fraction of a second i wouldnt notice it. come to think of it the gun was shooting alot slower without paint in it and sensi on

A little less patronizing would be greatly appreciated. No, we are not being confused. You are. Quote follows:

With no paint, once the Sensi is calibrated, SEMI modes 2 and 4 will allow a rate of dry firing that is greater than one ball per second.

In SENSI modes 1 or 3 you should notice a very long delay. About a second long (with no paint of course). You can pull the trigger all you want during that time and the gun will not fire until the maximum delay for a clearing shot has elapsed.

I have a similar problem right now. Using semi 3 and sensi turned on it will dry fire every pull without any delay. Sensi test passes every time and I have turned the sensi off and on firing it both ways and calibrated or not with out any difference. I am destroying paint. I do play comp and have my lpr at 4.7 bar instead of the 5.7 recommended (Frazer gave me that advice) with a dwell of 13. I am sending my A4 to a service center to see if they can fix the problems.
