Ok, I have looked through as many threads on sensi as I could possibly stand and couldn’t find an answer to my question.

First let me start by saying that this is the first gun i have ever had with sensi, and my first time trying to use it so if there is an obvious solution please just LMK. OK here goes..

I turn my 4 on and put it in to live mode with sensi on. I fire the necessary shots to calibrate sensi, and then start to rip. When I look at my ROF I can never get it passed 13(which I know is the capped BPS for calibrating sensi). I try to fire 5-7 shots at fast/slow/average speeds, I’ve tried firing 10balls at 1bps nothing works. It passes the sensi test 100% of the time. Am I calibrating sensi correctly? Could something be damaged? Anyone have any thoughts?

BTW: I use an EVOII w/ z-board, and although i dont have a halo, i tried it with a revy with the exact same results.

EDIT: I just wanted to add that with sensi off i can consistantly hit 20BPS easy, but the bolt will chop a ball every now and then

hmmm, try this, turn gun on, make sure sensi is on,fire more then nessecary to calibrate sensi, like say 13 balls as 1bps, then let it rip and check it again, see if that works, besides that im not sure wat to tell ya, seems wierd

setting the ROF is for when you are firing with sensi off. im saying after sensi should have been calibrated i cant reach more that 13BPS

but if it helps yeah my MROF is set at the max

What semi mode are you on and what is your Trigger response set at?

Also have you checked your drop test? My sensi wire was pinched and in sensi 1/3 I had long pauses and in 2 it would fire but not as fast. Sparco suggested running the sensi test and sure enough the sensor was not picking up the balls (2/10 pass rate). I'm waiting for a new sensi pad, but in the mean time I spliced the wire and now it works great.

Also have you checked your drop test? .

yea it passes the drop test everytime, but i will check the sensi wire just in case

I am in SEMI 2 with a TR setting of 7 with the way i have my trigger set up i get to much bounce at anthing lower

If that's the case, could you be experiencing the "pause" issue and sensi 2 is just covering it up? Check the search to make sure you're not too short on your trigger pull.

Your hopper might be the culprit. Try new batteries, or perhaps borrow a friends hopper. It sounds like everything is working fine with the SENSI. One thing to check to make sure the gun is calibrating correctly is to fire a few rounds with the gun in SENSI mode 1 and after you empty the hopper dry fire a few shots. You should not be able to fire any faster than about 1 bps if the SENSI is calibrated correctly. If you can fire faster than your gun failed calibration for some reason.

Switch to SEMI 1, and dump 15 rounds into your hopper. Go live, turn Sensi on, and fire through all of them, then keep firing. If you're firing more than once a second, your Sensi isn't functioning optimally.

From your description, it sounds like you're actually accidentally in one of the PROG modes. You sure you're in SEMI 2?

try setting ur MROF to max and calibrate sensi again and try it...I use a y-board egg with Max MROF in semi 2 and i get about 17-20bps...

MROF has nothing to do with sensi. When sensi is on your ROF is set by the LDS. Also I already stated that when im not using sensi my MROF is max

and people wonder why I use this smiley so much:wall:

attention all users!!!!! With Sensi on the MROF is set by the LDS in the marker not the MROF you set on the board. That's the reason why your ROF with Sensi off is limited to a max of 25 bps while with Sensi on you can achieve 31BPS!!!:wall:
