What is the ramp firing mode on the Angel 4?

not to be a complete and total butt head here...but open the manual and read it...if you are wondering in advance the manual can be found on www.wdp.tv I'm pretty sure the explanation is in there, just know that you won't be able to use it at a tournament.

It's a mode where you pull and hold the trigger in and the rate of fire starts slow but builds up to a maximum rate of 13bps.

I have read the manual and it covers every mode except the ramp mode which is never mentioned. I only seen it while going through the menu.
This site is very rude to people that are new to the angel markers, and to everyone that actually helps.
Thank you,
Kevin

This site is very rude to people that are new to the angel markers, and to everyone that actually helps.

It replicates bursts and delay time between cycles is decreased as the burt continues.

As being rude... many a times a new thread can be avoided by reading the manual or using the search tool. Now if you had stated that you read the manual and ran a search with no success perhaps Emmit's comments wouldn't have seen so rude.

THANK YOU, SEE I know im not the only one.. geez
I was only posting because i have a halo b too, and was trying to see if an issue was true, as a consumer i have a right to see why. just as if i was buying a car, i want to see why firestone tires were faulty and can kill someones family. Also , seems like someone assumes everyone doesnt read the manual and everyone else is stupid, now whos the one thats feelin dumb?.. :tunes:
You also keep telling everyone who posts, go look on the threads, well is this supposed to be a dictionary? or a fourm where people post to have a question answered?
You are like the post police :pat:

So you thus deem it appropriate to continue to air your ill will towards Emmit in an entirely unique and differen thread? Now that does make you look stupid...

If you feel as though AOG is too strict for you, why not try PBN? I'd like to see you get more accomplished there...

Emmit's comments wouldn't have seen so rude.

I've re-read this multiple times, and I still don't think it was a rude statement. I referenced the manual because the manual explains easily 99% of everything you need to know. I don't have a manual at work, and WDP is blocked so it's not like I could copy and paste straight from the manual etc.:dunno:

I couldn't count the number of times I've been able to reference an exact page of the manual or type verbatim from a manual to answer the question being asked, that in itself proves people don't read the manual. Now if you'd be so kind as to take your attitudes elsewhere I'd appreciate it.

Well if another person felt the same way then you know im not just pulling this stuff outa my ass. Ill agree to lighten up a bit if you do the same to new posters.

Even though you might not think its rude, people can take it that way,
ie, saying hey baby to a female co worker might take offense, but could be total natural to you.
So lets start off fresh ok? :drink:

i can see where some of the fustration is coming from though, i myself have been guilty of asking questions that have been covered countless times, and im all up for being as helpful as i can, but after the billionth thread of (example) 'how do i adjust the trigger?" u tend to feel... :wall:
just think of it this way, if u are new to angels, and u got a question, chances are its covered somewhere on here, just use the search

Guy's,
Lets not turn this thread into a slam emmit or anyone else thread. I'm new to angels and have read the manual several times cover to cover. And use the search as often as I can get answers there. I could have just taken emmits comment wrong, and if the question has been asked several times before, I could understand his frustrations. I was just wondering how the ramp mode worked and if it was useful or useless.
No harm No foul!
Thanks,
Kevin

I'm only going to comment on this as an Angel A4 newbie (only had the gun 1 month).

I read these threads in this forum for 2 weeks before I bought my A4, to get a clue what I was in for, and to also sort of form in my mind what the right and wrong things to do to the gun were. I downloaded the manual also and read it several times before I had the gun in my hands.

Having done this, I was able to set the gun up completely the way I wanted it before even dry firing it once, except for the LPR adjustment.

I have a Halo B, and I took about 1mm off of the COPS rod from the start. My marker passes SENSI test 100% of the time, and has never chopped in the breech once. I practice 2-3 times a week and shoot 2-3 cases / week so far.

This is a high tech, complicated piece of equipment. If you aren't prepared to do a little research and RTFM (Read the F******NG Manual), then you will have issues with any marker, even a Tippman 98.

Some people just aren't as good a technician as others, and we can't flame them because of it. But, if you don't perform the due diligence to find the answer or see of the topic has already been addressed, well, you just may have opened the flame floodgates.

Have an idea of how you want things to work, diagnose how it works currently, and make appropriate changes if necessary to achieve the desired performance.

Doh, i got a little off topic...this was about RAMP mode.

Why would you want to shoot RAMP unless you are just shooting cans in the back yard or playing with your buddies renegade style in the woods and not at a regulated paintball facility? I'm curious as to what FPS you are shooting too? 300+?

Not to be a brown-noser, but emmit just does his job. He's a moderator here and the Technical Liaison. he just tries to keep the forums as clean and junk free as best as one man is capable of doing. So it may have possibly seemed rude, but it was necessary on his part. And besides, who knows the manual better than emmit? I sure as hell don't!

The "technical liaison" is sort of a joke....notice the trademark there too:lol:

I do however fill the roll of a liaison on some occassions so it does fit however...
