I just got done with day 2 of the dynasty clinic, it was probably the best weekend ive had paintballing. all of the instructers were very nice, and pointed lots of advice out. every game they would come up to you and tell you about things you did good, and things you could have done better, or shouldnt have dont at all. The whole thing was very organized, with the goal of making the attendats become better paintballers, and they made that very clear by always telling you what you should be doing to help improve your game. The lunch was the HSP pizza, some nice macaroni thing, and a game of pool with dynasty. the whole thing was very organized.
Day1-
We mainly just did drills, mainly ones ive heard of before, but they were much more constructive, and since everyone was watching and giving you advice it was well worth the time. the whole camp (of 58 paintballers -mostly of the rookie/novice level-) were devided into 5 groups, that would rotate through different instructors to be taught different things. during the lunch break dynasty got on the field to play whoever walked on. the games were an 'even' 5on5. The weather remained good throughout the day, and the fields were well taken care of. at the end of the day posters were signed and there was a raffle.
Day2-
Much more happened on day 2. At first we fininshed off one drill group we didnt get to the previous day. After that the members were devided into 12 5 man teams, each with a pro captain to help us work out our game plan. each team played a minimum of 3 games, and Johnny, Angel, and Davey made it to the finals. I was on Yosh's team who was very helpfull in teaching us how to walk a field and set up a gameplan. In the end Angels team won, even though they were down 3on1 in the first minute. The fields were muddy this whole time, and puddles were everywhere. Everyone was wet. After that we climed onto the scenario fields for a nice WAR. 58 kids against 10 instructors. Dynasty killed us, we only shot 2 dynasty players out. The next war game they split the teams up, this time the games were more fair. Ollie, Ryan, Angel, Rodney and Yosh were the instructors playing with us. The whole game was based on fun and it was a reincarnation to end the clinic. Eventually (after ollie and nicci got into a bunker/shoot em up fest together) my team won, and the day was over.
All the people there were extrememly friendly and nice. none of them were at anytime cocky or biased. I think it was worth the $400, and i dont think anyone there wouldnt agree with me. I met new people from New York, New Hampsire, and even germany. everyone had a great time.
