View Full Version : Help sensi works in 2 and 4, but not 1 or 3

So maybe some one can help me with my problem. I have a Force 4 and I am using an Evo 2 with Z board. The gun was shooting great (thanks Ken) and then because it was so cold outside, I had a barrel break just after the breech. Paint was all over the inside of the gun. I squeeged it out but found that sensi was not working, Huge pause in all modes. Then I realized that the paint had gumed up the rod and was not allowing it to move down when a ball hit it (hence the long pause). I took it apart and cleaned the rod and the sensi rod hole and it worked again in modes 2 and 4 but not 1 and 3 (huge pause). So what do you think is going on? Sorry for the long post but I thought that more detail was better than less.

Could it be that paint seeped down the rod and onto the sensor? Or perhaps a shell fragment got in the way? I'm honestly surprised you use 1 and/or 3, versus 2 and/or 4 mode. Have you been able to clean it down completely and retry the mode?

I will break it down and clean it completely tonight. I did a pretty thorough job before but I will make sure. I use 1/3 because as a back/mid guy, it's really bad if I chop and I wanted to make sure that the gun didn't fire if there wasn't a ball in the breech. That being said, I shot in sensi 2 all day today at practice and didn't have a single problem. I will post with results tomorrow. Thanks!

Doc, I recommend you give SENSI 2/4 a try even at a practice. At practice today I went through 39 pods and not one chop. Barrel breaks were even less than 5 off of Field Blaze!

as a back/mid I understand the desire to minimize or even prevent the chopping, however I can honestly say that I have to chop on my 4 with Sensi on. I'm currently running it in mode 2 because I want the highest peak rates of fire with the minimal chance for a chop. With a properly calibrated Sensi my Evlution with z-board feeds my marker more than fast enough to prevent me from chopping in mode 2. It's definitely the mode of choice IMO.
