Yesterday I removed the hammer assembly to re-grease it. When I was re-greasing it I discovered that if I pulled out the hammer the whole way (front-position) the ram became very lose. The side-to-side play was like +-3mm. When the hammer was in the back-position there was no side-to-side play at all. Plus, if I layed some pressure (very little) from the side at the same time as I pushed it back into the ram-housing, I got this scraping metal to metal sound. Should the hammer assembly be like this or is it worn already, the Speed is only 7 months old.
Why I ask this is because the gun has acted a little weird latley. I have started to get some weird random chops when I rip. And one day it suddenly started to choke when I was ripping fast, to fix it I was forced to increase the dwell one level.
