Hey guys i have both the A4 bolt and the stock bolt from my speed. The stock bold has never been used and the A4 one is chewed up real bad, i dont know how it got that way either. Anyway to my question. Is there a way to dis-assemble the bolts so i can switch the delrin parts between the two? or do i just have to get a new A4 bolt?

Im pretty sure you are gonna just have to buy a new softfaced bolt. Check with any of the sponsors, and while you are ordering one, they could answer that question too!

don't think you can do anything yourself...
however if your bolt is beat up badly it's probably a result of your Ram not being adjusted to your current bolt. I'd suggest taking a look at that. Get us a pic so we can see what it is you're talking about when you say 'chewed up'

Ill try on the pic Emmit. But for a better description, im talking indentations and deeper scratches than normal wear and tear. Im thinking it might be from my eye instalation and the ppl never cleared all the debris out of the body and put in my bolt and shot it a few times. Im the second owner of the gun and the bolt was chewed like this b4 i got it. But ill get that pic up soon as i can.

Why would i be SOL because i had Warped do my eyes? I cant figure out how the bolt go chewed either, i looked into the breech and its very clean and smooth so i think i can safely rule out the thought of sharp edges from the eyes. Oh well, at worst its what 25 bux for a new bolt?

you're SOL because you had someone do a non WDP approved mod to your marker. Your only recourse now is to attempt to get whoever did the mod to make the necessary repairs so that it's useable if not you're just gonna keep going through bolts.

Got it all taken care of. hehe some X-tra fine sandpaper and all groves are gone. and it still fits with no side to side play in the breach =] im a happy camper. BTW Jeff, my speed so totally owns yours its not funny. :321: lol When you gonna come to cali so i can show you up in person instead of owning you online in DOD and CS???

The X-tra fine sandpaper may have worked this time, but I would do what Emmit says and find out what the root cause is (more than likely a mis-aligned ram). There's only so many times you can sand that sucker down, plus what a pain to have to deal with!!! Angels are darn near maintenance free...
