you still need to use the reg.

To adjust velocity, you need to srew in(or out) the bottom silver threaded screw on the bottom of the black ice. If I remember correct, screwing it in turns the velocity up, and screwing it out turns it down. Good luck.

I thought screwing it out meant it goes up because ur letting more pressure into the actual gun itself. Screwing it in means less because ur letting less pressure in.

on the stock Angel mini-reg you would be correct. However he's attempting to use a Black Ice reg, which doesn't work the same as the mini-regs. Of course why you would want to use something other than the mini-reg I couldn't tell you.
