I'm not really too big of a noob, I've been in the game now for about 5 years, and have gone through 3 guns, and now have a Speed and want to use it more. I have a tank (am borrowing it currently) however, I want to buy my own.
My local store doesnt have any N2 tanks, when I search Online, I dont really know what I'm looking for. I'll find low pressure regulators, but I am not sure if its the right thing. Can some1 help me out? Thanks.

Check the sponsor's websites, they should have what you need. What you want is either an adjustable regulator (built on the bottle) or a low pressure preset. You will pay more money for the adjustable and its nice to have the ability to adjust output, but a preset will work just fine as well.

if you can only get your hands on a HP tank get a thor reg or something like that a bottom line reg to take the pressure down, PSSSTTTT i also have 1 for sale with the rail

DOes any1 use the nitroduc adjustable, do you like it, does it have good consistency? Only reason I ask, is because its the only 1 I can get by monday (when I'm balling next)...

I hear good things about their xstream tank. A LOT OF PLAYERS have good results with the BLUE REGULATOR CROSSFIRE tanks. These have a 450 - 550 psi output and work great on the speeds.

im not too familiar with that particular tank, but try it. if you can chrono at appropriate speeds, and your happy with the tanks performance, then there shouldnt be any need to upgrade.

if however you have spare cash for a tank, and want a l/p or adjustable tank, then i would look into the new l/p ANGEL AIR preset, or an adjustable (i use a nitro duck
x-stream, and like it alot) this way you can use your current tank as a backup.

now if you cant get the speed to chrono low enough (im assuming that your current tank is h/p) there are mods posted on this site to help with that ~search~

i sent an email to a WDP tech telling him that i had a HPA crossfire tank (68/3000) which had a preset output pressure of 850 psi and he said it would work fine on a stock speed. from what i understand, if you fiddle around with the dwell, the speed will run flawlessly even with a HPA tank.

so long as you can chrono at the right speed it should work fine, if you chrono too high and cant lower it theres a mod detailed in one of the threads here that should help.

30ftrule, take a look in the speed forums. Like Luzrd stated earlier, if you can get your velocity below 300 you are all set. If not there is the reg mod you can do or you can get a secondary reg like the Thor to reduce the input pressure to the mini reg. There are a few threads on this floating around. Idealy you want about 400-450psi going into the mini reg.
