Just a thought...

Will keeping a full or nearly full tank for a prolonged period of time damage the bottle and/or adjustable reg on the tank?
Thanks

nope...won't damage anything. I used to always make sure my tanks were full when I left the field everytime I played....it meant I always had air at home to just goof off with.

Think about it Ranger dude. Air tanks at your local Fire Dept stay at 4500 PSI all of there life, used in an adverse environment & they last 15 years as designed.

Thanks, but the tanks are a bit different... so I was just curious.

No...not really. 4500psi is 4500psi. Regulators are regulators. The only difference, smaller cubic inch. Nothing will be harmed by prolonged pressure.

As long as the tank has been hydro'd and VIP'd you should be good to go. Our tanks don't require a VIP, but SCUBA and SCBA's require one on a yearly basis.
