the purpose of a volumizer is to allow for the storage of a large volume of air to prevent the shootdown and allow for lower pressures, remember low pressure needs a high volume

Another couple of questions to go along with this would be:
A.Can I run more then 1 volumizer (put one next to it)
B. Does it really matter which 1 I use

A: Yes, although the second one is just for looks wise. The second one doesnt do anything for performance. The one that is important goes on the left side when looking at the gun with the barrel pointing at you.(exhaust valve side)
B: What do you mean? Size? Brand?

I was reffering to size, and did some research (looking at other posts) and correct me if I am wrong, the different brands all basically do the same thing, and that it is all appearance, thus, which ever one looks nicer is the 1 you puy on your gun?

well all the differnt brand that are made for the speed and a4's do the same thing basically. previous volumizers for like lcds and ir3s wont really do anything on a speed. so yes, the master tech, 3 sum(large one), shank ,dirt, ect. will all give you the low pressure so its just basically what you think looks best.

I'm gonna add a Mastertech volumizer to my speed, do I need to turn up the dwell or the mini reg in order for me to avoid shootdown? I'm using a ACI Bulldog preset at 450psi. I haven't touched my lpr and don't plan to. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

ideally by adding the volumizer you can run the lower LPR pressure and in turn lower input pressures, that's the reason for the volumizer. However without making any changes chances are you'll have to turn your velocity screw down as you'll have a larger volume of air.

with my settings will it help or hurt with the kick of the gun?

So a volumizer ADDS FPS?

I think Emmit's two cents on this topic cover it all.

So a volumizer ADDS FPS?
you're adding more volume to your air....how many times do I have to say HP=Low volume, LP=High Volume...so following this theory if the volume goes up then the pressure must go down to keep your velocity the same...it's the same thing as with the dwell...when you change your dwell you need to change your velocity because you're changing the operating pressures of the marker.

I still dont understand tho... so adding a volumizer makes your FPS higher, meaning you will need to adjust your velocity screw lower? So if you have a HP tank and have trouble getting your speed under 300 fps would it be a good idea to remove the volumizer...?

What are some other lesser known companies who make volumizers, and angel parts?
I know you mentioned DIRT what are some others?
