I played ONE tourney with my iR3 and by the end of the day, the grips were peeling like crazy. I understand that this is commonplace with iR3 grips, but I was also under the impression that if you had a MEM4 Opto board, you should also have the newer material grips. Apparently this isn't so; could someone explain this to me? Also, where is a good place to get some non-peeling grips in champagne?

yea the older material is kinda crappy...
I have an old pair and they are really fraying, right down to the plastic part... It was annoying me so I got a lighter and melted them down.
It looks better then when it was frayed.

hehehe colour changing grips... what a world.
I'm asumeing they change when your body heat from your hand touches them.
My C & C (mem 2) of course peel but the Dark (mem 4) I got before you got your Fly Hal, doesn't peel. Maybe its a plot against you??

we also have the flip-tone grips in stock (color changing) as well
as green and white
I will have to get me a pair of those color changing grip. lol, i have never seen them.
What other colors do they come in. I have a blue C&C.
That would be sweet if they had like a matching red for my red c&c.

It seems to me that the grip peeling problem is a design flaw and as such, shouldn't this be something that WDP replaces under warranty? Peeling after one day? :puzzled:

I don't mind the peeling grips, to me it just shows they are working and doing what they are designed to do, which is to provide a soft grippy surface :puzzled:

:rrrright:
I don't think anyone with grips made from the new, non-peeling material need to see it peeling to know that it is providing a soft grippy surface. To me, a part of the marker is failing, and failing prematurely, at that.
My grips look like Conan O'Brian after a week at the beach.
