i just wanted to see your opinions on this. what do u guys think clear/smoke evo2 zboard or black? im planning on puting it on and getting it with that setup u always hear me talking about getting. i was thinking clear when i get it cuz if anything pops (i remeber my bro once tripped and paint broke all in his hopper and if it wasnt for it being clear he wouldnt have known) or breaks in it and also so i can tell about how many rounds i have left does anyone disagree?

depends on the color and color scheme of the marker...
I had a black one (because my IR3 was black) then since getting my 4 I've switched to a clear one as it goes better with the blue and silver (IMO)

well im talking about gunmeal force 4 (or whatever black like color they have at that point) with the black slayer trigger a black angel air tank and maybe a black evil pipe kit if not then down the road it will be purchased. so mainly a black on gunmetal thing but i figure clear would be a little better game wise not thinking about color. but then again it would show what color paint you are using so seeing blue and yellow paintballs doesnt go well with the rest of the color scheme. i just wanna see what everyone else thinks.

I saw a thread on PBN that the NPPL might be banning clear or partially clear hoppers from their events. That's something to consider...

ooo wow geez deff something to consider. never heard that. why would they do that though? whats wrong with it? i would think clear would be encouraged so they can see whats going on in the hopper and what the person is shooting or if theres something hidden in the hopper in like some area or smtn that could be used to cheat etc. with clear hoppers its like xray vision theres nothing to hide. i know it sounds rediculous to talk about cheating with a hopper or something in a hopper etc. but hey its better to eliminate everything including lowest probability.

Go with the smoke. It will go better with all your other gun components.

Okay then get black. I was relating it to the halo which has black, smoke, and then clear. I wouldn't get clear, I had one once and didn't like it. However, I have seen clear on many a gun that looked good. It is all personal prefference.

Since you have gunmetal, smoke looks nice......... Iono, in my opinion, I've rushed many people with clear hoppers. You can tell when they're running low and I get cover fire and rush em because I know they're bout to reload. IMO, black works best because you can just glance at the cover and see how much u got left, it's not that much harder than having a clear and being able to just see through it. Tactical Advantage

Only thing may be that the MTs (Master techs) may not do the same colors for the next batch. When I bought my F4, Ken mentioned that it was one of the last ones he had in stock (other MTs may have this color) and that the next set could possibly be a different set of 3 colors. Either way, you can't lose. Best of luck, you definately will not be disappointed!

You never know what the MT's are going to do. For all we know they might make 150 pink guns:dunno::wink:

your right about the whole tactical advantage thing with black. i never thought about that. as for gun color im not worried cuz any thing black or black/bblue fade works for me (mainly dust though) and maybe all blue so i highly doubt the next batch WONT have a black like color or silver or something i could deal with

I was mentioning it, just in case he wanted the Gun Metal color to match his hopper too.

i wouldnt worry much about the nppl banning clear hoppers,
you can always just dye the hopper, which is what i always suggest :)
