I will premise this with YES I did do a search on the topic first. I know that a HP tank will work on the Speeds; but if velocity is hot how do you change the dwells? What do the shims do? and when can I add the volumizers, how many, and does the computer or reg automaticlly adjust for the low pressure? PLEASE HELP!!!

Your dwell can be changed by following the steps on page 13 of your manual. If you don't have a manual it can be found here: http://www.wdp.tv/manuals/
Shims will increase or decrease you LPR pressure. Adding shims increases the pressure and taking them out lowers it. I would NOT suggest doing this unless you have a tool kit. Without the gauge you won't know your exact LPR pressure.
If you want to put on a volumizer it goes on the right side of the gun, opposite of the LPR. Adding another one will do nothing unless you want the gun to look pretty.
As far as the computer or reg, I take it that you are talking about the reg on the AIR or another adjustable tank. Just take a look at it and adjust it for the desired input to your mini reg.

why wont the volumizer work on the lpr side. I would think it would..........Explain!!! :boink:

I think its cause the air in the lpr side is already at a low pressure...
Yea why does a volumizer only help when its not on the lpr side?

there is actually a mod so the speed will allow hpa tanks...search pbn...ive seen it before or search it on here this has been asked before.

All speeds take HPA tanks, you cant run em on CO2.....
I think you mean there is a mod to allow speed to use HIGH OUTPUT tanks....
And yea you can run a speed on a highoutput tank fine, you just have to adjust your mini reg accordingly, or run some other kind of secondary regualtor.

The volumizer works on the exhaust side because that is where the air is stored before it leaves through the exhaust valve and then finally through the barrel. You are creating a larger chamber for the same amount of air that is regulated into the marker. This larger chamber holds the same amount of air as it would without a volumizer. The volumizer helps to create the lower pressure of air "hitting" the ball. It helps to displace the air temporarily before it is being spent.
The LPR is already going to move X amount of air into the solenoid at Y amount of pressure (this is the measurement of the LPR tool kit gauge). These are fixed parameters. The amount of air that would be held using an LPR volumizer would not create any added benefit to the amount of air used to cycle the marker. The shims are the only variable to creating a different LPR pressure.
Hope that somewhat helps.
P.S. The mini-reg mod should be a sticky in the WDP forum on PBN.

mini reg mod is just replacement of the springs.. This will bring your pressure way down without spending any money. Its on the nation, here's the link
