Hello all, I was/am still caught in the classic struggle between 2k2 timmy, angel speed, and matrix. My question is how well will the armaggedon tank work with the angel speed? Also any neccesary upgrades you should by right away.

Timmies are nice, but they feel kinda toyish, at least some of them do. The only one that I would consider would be a Lasoya although the SOB isn't that bad at all.
I hear Dye Matrices are pretty nice as they come with eyes and you can pick one up for about 825 at paintballgateway.com. For me it was a toss up between the Dye Matrix and the Speed as well, but when it came down to it I just went with the awesome deal that paintballgateway.com had going for them. Besides, I think only a couple people at my field play with Matrices as opposed to tons of Speed/A4 and other Angel owners so I knew if I ran into trouble help would be right around the corner.
I couldn't be happier with my Angel though its really nice, I just have to work on the trigger a little bit more, and get used to the whole optical thing, but other than that it'll be rockin'.

Timmy's are cheaply made, from what i understand. They opperate similar to a hyper-framed' spyder. (yes thats right, a spyder) Most of the speed you get on an intimidator is from trigger bounce. (illegal) The matrix is very nice. I was deciding on a Dye trix, with evolve kit, and some other stuff, or a speed with the stuff listed in my sig. I chose the speed only because of the weight, and easibility to maintain. On the trix, you would have to lube the bolt for like every game to make it work at optimum preformance. And now, i am extremely happy with my speed, and plan to keep using angels in the future. Hope i helped ;)

wat about a dm4
my team mate has one of those and a speed
he uses the dm4 when playin back b/c of the length and how quiet it is, and it is much quiter than any gat i have ever, ever herd
he uses the speed when hes playin mid-front for speed and how light & small it is
personaly i love the speed but the dm4 would b a good choice to if you wanted really quiet, although it is defnatly not as fast as my speed

hey yea I have a geddon on my speed..its pretty pimp actually..works very nice and I would deff. recommend a rail.
Im gonna say the speed with geddon(68 45) is equal to the wieght of a lcd with 68 45 preset. its not too bad. use a revvy it will make up for the difference. :samurai:
