sorry if this has been discussed, but I could not find it anywhere. I need to know how many shims is 70 psi? I don't have the tool kit yet :(

there is no way to know your lpr without a toolkit. its totally off if you try to estimate with putting in/taking out shims without a tool kit. when i got my tool kit i thought my lpr wa at 77 and it was at 60, so to find out ur lpr you either have to buy a tool kit or see if ur local pro shop has a tool kit so you can measure it there.

without the gauge there's no 100% way to tell...heck you can't even tell what your LPR is at right now, and just because the manual says that each shims ='s approx. 5psi doesn't mean that they all do. If you want to make LPR adjustments invest in the tool kit.

Heh, I can attest to the fact that one shim most definitely does not equal the 5psi that the manual says. I was setting my LPR to Ken's suggested settings in the Angel 4 forum and 2 different shims gave 2 VERY different results. One shim raised it over 15psi while another one I tried got it exactly where I wanted it. I have no clue what's up with that, but now that it's set where I want it, I'm gonna leave it alone. Get the tool kit, it's well worth it.

really if you bought a 800 dollar gun, 50 dollar hopper and 150 tank, hopefully you can spend an extra 40 dollars to get the gun running the way you want it to run. Also, the gun runs fine bone stock.

I think for 55-60 LPR it's approx 3-4 shims. I was reading around but anyone know the best way to take our your LPR without the toolkit?

There are other ways to take out the LPR, but why even take it out if you don't have the toolkit to measure the LPR pressure? Either do it the right way, or just leave it stock.
