Preface:
1) 20% my balls fail the sensi test
Background:
1) I just did a recharge for 8 hours and tested again. The success rate of balls passing the test went up to about 50-60%. Could be also I am dropping the ball differently now :scratchhe
2) Brand new gun
3) Never had a ball break
4) Cleaned out the rod and the breech anyway just to make sure it wasn't clogged
5) Rod does not look damaged and is not bent
6) Rod hole does not look clogged although I did not clean it (dunno what fits in it)
Marker has no noticeable problems when firing in Sensi 2 but I want to get the most out of my speed. Probably would stutter in Sensi 1+3 but have not tried it... will try now....
Any info you can offer would be great.
Regards,
Charles

So you are hitting 9 out of 10 on the sensi test? Are you having troubles actually shooting or just passing the Sensi test.
I have found that the way you drop it can be different from the way it feeds.
Only worry about the Sensi test if you are having trouble with pause issues or not being able to fire at all.

no I'm only getting 5/10 on the sensi test passing... 5/10 of them fail.
I have no noticeable trouble shooting...
i have also noticed that the way you drop is different from the way it feeds... I'm sure when it feeds there is more force on the ball, but I'm going by the book here and when they say "drop a ball in the feed neck" I do just that...
let me know what you think Talfuchre.

I find that the best way to do the sensi test is by having one ball already in the chamber then doing the drop test. I think this makes it a little more real to how it would feed with a hopper.

Big Boo, that's what I thought too, but a lot of poeple get 50/50 balls passing the test so it can't be the way we're doing it...
PLUS, if it doesn't register just 1 ball in the breech then what happens on the last ball in our hopper? Chop?

Try taking a look at the sensor pad. It might be bad, a slight crack in it will give you bogus results, but will be good enough to rip some paint with.

Put it in sensi test mode and open your breech and turn your hopper on and it will stay in pass.

Thog: I actually cleaned out the contact point on the yellow strip where the rod touches the Sensi. It did not make any difference unfortunately.
Bad Intentions: If you have a force fed hopper like the Evo2 or Halo yes I'm sure that provides enough force to make the sensi constantly say PASS.
Update: After having put 2 cases of balls through my Speed I took it apart and cleaned it out AGAIN, and did a drop test. It passed 23/25 balls....
It's better, but still not perfect. On another note, the gun ripped on Saturday and Sunday. Quite happy with it. It was even shooting hot after I changed balls...
