wired mini reg mod with volumizers

ok i have a high preset tank (850) and have done the mini reg mod that was described in that particular thread for the speed. I have also set the lpr to 55 psi with the tool kit so i could put on my largest volumizer from wdp. but with the big volumizer on i cant get the velocity under 311. with the medium volumizer on i can get the velocity to 285 perfectly. what the hell is going on i cant figure it out? I put my friends low press tank on with the big volumizer on and it worked perfectly with the standard mini reg set up. is the suggested mini reg mod kinda rigging it or is it a lagit solution to the high tank angel problem?

Well, the mini reg mod that you did probably only allowed your mini-reg to output a pressure around 225-250 psi minimum with a HP tank. You will require an output from the mini-reg of around 180-190 psi to use the largest volumizer. I don't know if you can mod the mini-reg to efficiently reg down this low.

i think that if the setup you desires requires a lp tank invest in the dern lp tank you already spent 700+ for the speed spend another 120 or so and get that lil ol' lp tank.
