I have a 88/45 pmi preset tank and i have the angel volumizer kit on it. My dwell is set on 11. I need advice on what could do to lower velocity.

well i had the same problem as you, and what i did was just bought a cheap used THOR reg and it works like a charm. It makes you preset adjustable...the down side to it was that its not very consistant and it adds some weight to your gun

Yeah you cant use a pre-set reliable on a Speed need some way of turning down the output so if you stuck on that tank then do the above mentioned.

YES< you can use a preset realiably on a speed. There is a way to adjust the spring disks on the minireg. I am doing it myself and it works perfect. There is a thread on here from one of the techs, it works fine. Do a Search I know many people have done it.

yep, if you rearrange the spring stack the minireg will handle an hp preset perfectly

you could also lower your lpr slightly, but try the minireg mod first

Ok I meant you cant use a pre-set as the way the mini-reg comes stock to clarify my post. But yeah like Moogle said there is a post on a "how to" on this matter.

or u can spend 150$ on a max flo lol
(thats wat I did...b4 I knew that you could just change the stacks)

I think having a second reg is better, this way if my tank spikesm I have two regs slowing the air b4 it goes thru my internals and turns my money-machine into a paper weight.

P.S- Trancequility is teh win

PMI also makes an LP kit for their pre-set tank regs that allows you to lower the output PSI to about 450. I think the kit costs about $25. I had this problem before I bought a Nitro Duck X-stream and I solved it by removing a couple of shims from the LPR.

Yea since it is a pure energy they can make it low pressure. Any pro shop should be able to do it relatively cheap. I got it done for 10$ candian.
