Fwd pivot point binding

Hey guys, right now i have my pivot point at the back posit. ****in aroudn last night and tried the one forward of it. Trigger was EXTREMELY sticky, wouldnt move unless you pulled and pushed. Whats the deal. Also i did the magnet mod (dont think they were the right magnets). I had to grind down the magnet and my set screw is all the way in. I can max out the led at first then after about 5-10 seconds of walking it it will start pausing and shooting really really slow. I have the rare magnets on order.

was the pivot point clean when you tried it? did you lube it? did you do the magnet mod before you changed pivot points?

put some grease on the opto leaf

on the leaf? just curious as to how that would help. Leaf works fine in the other pivot point. Not saying your wrong, just curious

i had that problem, its probably just not clean, clean out that hole and the trigger pin, and if it still is bad either put some love juice on there(will work for a while but after a while it will go back to what it was) or just put it back in the other pivot hole.

there should be some grease on the leaf, maybe the new pivot point puts the trigger at a more drastic angle against the leaf or something.

the grease wears off and gets dirty

greasing it makes the pull much smoother, since the trigger touching the leaf is metal against metal, so grease will make the movement smoother

and yea check if the trigger is clean on the sides, maybe some oil on the sides where it's in contact with the frame, and check the pin and the pivot hole

i did all that, works fine in the rear hole :) but binds the whole way (not just when hitting the leaf) in the forward hole. Guess i'll just keep it where it was.
