P.O.F.S. (Piece of Fu*king Sh*t) sensi has cracked for the third time. I have an EVO II and never used a straight shot in the breach or @ all. I have used a Dye battle swab numerous times but it is to soft to do any damage. This occurred around 2 weeks ago and I just now got the right size Allen to take it apart and found it cracked. I was using a HP tank during this time that this occurred and now I have a LP tank. The only thing I can think that might of happened is that with the HP tank and a DWEL of 1 my gun was chopping so much that shells of paint were getting stuck between sensi rod and bolt maybe. Can any one shed some light on this issue. Can not get it ACED at this time. Is the whole sensi system defective also considering we all know it sucks.

What if I were to Sand or cutt a fraction off the top of the sensi rod and then do a drop test to make sure it wasent to short?

Man, I feel your pain paintballer4life. I have only had my Angel 4 for 4 months and my 4th SENSI is being shipped to me as we speak. I wonder if we should get some type of petition going for WDP to design a little more rugged SENSI unit. I don't need much, just a SENSI that won't break every month.

no....no it doesn't suck...it performs it's job exactly as it's supposed to. No chops on my 4 and it's the exact same thing.

I have no idea what you're doing to your marker considering that I have not repalced my sensor in my 4 yet, and I only replace the sensor in my IR3 once...I just put almost 4000 shots on my 4 today:dunno:

I am ordering 15 of em right now. It's still cheaper than buying an eye from warpedsportz.

Well, don't give up too easy painballer4life. I too have had zero trouble with my sensi rods even though I bought a pack of 3 for 5 bucks just to have on hand. Probably put 5000 rounds through my speed. I also have the evo 2 (z board) and it doesn't seem to be damaging to the rod. Is it possible for the bolt to be traveling too far forward and hitting the top of the sensi rod? Not sure of the physical travel limits, but with a high pressure if the travel limits allow, it could hit it. Its the only thing I can think of that would cause that kind of damage. Email Bob at The Angel Guy, Robert P.I. Moon at FixmyAngel, or any of the other techs, and see if they have heard of this problem. They are great guys also (I here Ken Crane is great too, but never talked with him). If they can't help, email Frazier at WDP, but I believe one of the great techs will be able to help. If all else fails, and you want to keep the Speed, try to get ACE for it, that's still cheaper than going to buy a nice Timmy. If you figure it out, please post here so we all know how it is resolved. Thanks.

do you have the stock bolt? cuz some bolts travil over the senci and hit it? there is a groove in the new ones that wont hit the rod? maybe?

Yeah, I think its really frustrating a lot of people right now, even though Sensi has worked for many people.

It seems you just have to setup it up right and thats with any gun to be honest, its just Sensi seems to be a little finky at times from what I've been hearing about.

I just don't understand why WDP just won't jump on the bandwagon and starting using a reliable beam break eye. I mean you would think that since practically every other company has been going this route and that it has been working quite well for them that they would get the hint, regardless of how good they think Sensi is. I mean with everyone now dropping down the money for ACE and HK goodies you'd think that there would be enough to make them consider or just try it out.

That is honestly all that Angels are truely lacking, because WDP already makes awesome stock boards.

I really hope my Sensi works for me when I get my Speed because I really don't feel like dropping the money for the WAS/ACE just yet.

In no shape or form was I trying to put down WDP, because I believe they are a great company and make outstanding quality products. I just wish they would work on that one area because I would really like to stay with Angels for some time since they were really the first high-end guns that I really fell in love with.

I agree with you the sensi is the worst thing angel ever decided to make if i knew it was going to be as much troubble as mine has i would have bought something else!!!
now i have to put another 305 into my gun tho get an eye. if they dont come out with an eye on there next gun im going to start a boycot againsed all their products! :pisss: and i dont think im the only one whos thinking this.
