The first thing I did was modify the leaf spring so the trigger is super-light(originally done by moogle-thanks moogle where ever you are) by bending it so the bottom portion of the leaf spring so its parellel to the trigger, then i readjusted the very bottom part with the hole that sees the eye so it would be parallel with the eye. Next I adjusted my cobra fang trigger to less than a 1mm pull length.Keep in mind this is the speed version of the cobra trigger, it cannot be done with the stock styla. I suppose it can be done with any speed or A4 trigger as well. the trigger is set at the last trigger position. the board is a mem-6 opto ust in case you were wondering. I can use the bounce on command, single shots or short bursts aren't a problem. if you have any questions ask me.

is your pull sloppy or tight...? like does the trigger dangle or is it tight? lby the less then 1 mm pull do you mean that the whole trigger only moves less then 1 mm?

congratulations, you have successfully voided your warrenty and made your gun illegal to use at any field/tournament.

warrenty is gone after a year unless u have a dark ne ways. im pretty sure cobras is only a year too. plus i dont think that having the leaf spring bent is gonna make a tech turn it away

The techs will still work on it, but your warrenty wont be valid. Meaning that if it stops working, you are paying for the parts, and I dont think youcan get just the spring so gotta buy the whole board. (could be wrong on that, but you definately lose your warrenty).
Not saying you cant do the mod, just warning you.

crazy- its really tight, the whole trigger moves, the pull gets a slight bit longer as you go down it to the bottom.
warranties are overrated. i know a few techs who have their leaf springs bent and they will still work on a gun with bent leaf spring, as long as you did not modify the board itself(I didn't open the pcb). As far as using at fields, they dont care. I scrimmage with other teams with timmys on debounce 2, which shoots at like 22bps. I think the only tournies that are strict about the bounce thing are the amatuer and pro levels.

he didn'y void any warrentys...bending a spring doesnt void the warrenty...it would have if he opened the board...but no one is going to be able to tell that u bent the spring..and they wont even care...plus you can always bend it back pretty close to what it was...
do you mean that the trigger has barley any overtravel? and basically no return?

ah yes, 1 more person discovered my incredible mod
just to avoid confusion,

here's my walk through on how to do it, i have a better camera now so if needed i will supply some better pictures
and to clarify, this WILL void your warranty IF you mess up the board, housing or anything else, but if you do it like i instructed then your warranty is still valid

it does have return and over travel but it is extremely little. you should set it so it fires at the beggining of the trigger pull and leave just a tiny bit of slack behind it.

..and this will bounce...how exactly did you find the "sweet spot" ...bascally what im asking is how do you figure out how to bounce it?? i know this sounds noobish but i just cant get it to bounce...

well for me it bounces when I shoot between 4-6 balls at a rate where I could achieve maybe 13 bps, if i kept it up to one second, the bouncing takes over by itself. For bursts without bounce I walk it slower so it wont kick on. Also, are you using air? because it wont work without air. You may also want to walk the trigger a little higher on the trigger where the pull is shorter to get it to bounce. To get it to stop bouncing I just tap the side of the trigger. If all that didn't work, make minor adjustments little by little to make the trigger short enough until it bounces. My trigger pull is like this(*=gun fires at this point,-=return,[=trigger pull starts, ]=trigger pull ends) [*-] You didn't sound noobish.

I have never understood why people are so obsessed with trigger bounce. It is farely easy to pick up on when you are reffing and it takes no tallent at all to shoot fast with bounce. I'd rather pull the trigger. Has everyone seen the videos in the WAS section of the HK angel that shoots by itself, (without even holding his hand near the trigger>?

aerotcus, i did not do this mod for the sake of bounce, i just didnt like how my trigger felt, i wanted it to be lighter, the bounce just happened to be a side effect, and it's not significant enough to cause a problem IMO unless i set it to bounce in full auto, but i can only do that when i have cops turned off and i play with cops on, i also never got it to do it very long with paint so...
