View Full Version : Empty Speed shoots with Sensi on?

I was shooting my Speed in my backyard the other day and had the Sensi set on 3. Well, once I emptied my hopper, I pulled the trigger and it fired when there was no paint in the breech. Thinking I might've left a ball in there or something, I pulled the trigger again and it fired again. Is this supposed to happen?

Sensi is working because I did the test and the red and green lights flash. Also, after I degassed the gun, I kept pulling the trigger and the solenoid went like this (sensi was still on at this point): *click-nothing-nothing-nothing-click-nothing-nothing-nothing-click*

That sounds like the Sensi was functioning because the parts where the solenoid didn't click was probably the "pause" when a ball isn't detected, but why did it fire at all? I was under the impression that it won't fire at all unless a ball is detected? Is that normal? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

SESNI 1 and 3 will put almost a second delay on the shot, but will not prevent the gun from firing. If you run out of paint, you should be able to pull the trigger as fast as you can and the gun will only fire about 1-3 bps (very slowly). If it is firing faster, then SENSI is off or did not calibrate correctly. SENSI 2 and 4 will put a much smaller delay on the shot and I belive will fire on alternate trigger pulls unlike SENSI 1 and 3.

It is normal for SENSI to fire without paint. It should just fire MUCH slower.
