I was havin problems with my gun chopin paint when the Sensi was on so i did the Sensi test on the gun and it failed. So i took the gun apart and cleaned the sensi rod and everything else around it. Come to find out the Sensi sensor part where the butt end of the rod sits was shaterd. I geuss thats the problem. Does anybody know where i can find one on the internet. :lifeaway:

Click on the the Angel Service Center link at the top of the page. They have them for $20. I think they call them COPS sensors though.
I have ordered from them before.

you're in Maryland...check with either www.performanceangel.com or www.impactpaintball.com they both have the rods and can send you some.

Emmit, in your opinion should speed users always keep an extra rod in their possession in the case that they do break? What would you say are the chances of needing a new rod throughout the entire duration of one's ownership period. Assuming 1 year, 3 year, and 5 year ownership periods?
btw, you have a PM. Thanks.

in over 50k on my IR3 I only changed the rod once, and that was because I actually had a broken sensor and I thought it was a rod at first...and I have no pm's:dunno:
Thanks

I have broken 3 SENSI sensors. I belive the Halo was responsible for 2 of them. The funny thing is that one of the three I still use because it detects the paint very well, but it's completely cracked in two. The SENSI rod only touches half of the yellow stip on the SENSI sensor. The other half is blent down and not even touching the ball. It works perfectly like this though, passes every drop tests and slows my gun down exactly when it should. Weird.

I can outshoot my Halo easily without SENSI. SENSI works great for me, but just wish that it wouldn't break as easily as it seems to.

so are you saying the yellow tab was broken...yes that's a broken sensor, you want to replace that...
again...in over 50k on my IR3 I've only replaced that once because I had inded broken the yellow plates and this was causing my IR3 to perform subpar.

Hey guys,
I must be lucky. Had my Speed 5 months and over 20k. Still using orginal sensor and
rod. I also use a Halo B. The only thing I do is make sure every thing is clean on rod and sensor. Living right in SC.

I have heard that some Halos will feed with more/less force than others. I wonder if mine just has a very harsh spring tension. It's a pretty automatic thing with me. My Halo WILL smash my SENSI in a short amount of time. I hear about others that have no issues with their Halos on their Angel, but there is absolutely nothing that they are doing differently than me. I am smart enough to know what to do and what not to do with my marker and understand the functioning of the SENSI completely.
I do have one question though. Is there ANY way possible that my A4 bolt could be hitting the SENSI rod?
I am 90% positive it's the Halo though. Three broken SENSIs have practically confirmed this.

if the bolt was hitting the sensi rod it would break the rod off and it wouldn't do anything to the sensor itself....however the bolt should not be hitting the rod at all...that's the point of the slot in the bolt.

That's what I though Emmit.. Well.. the Halo is still the primary suspect then.
