ok i got a new style ultralite today.

I screwed it on my gun slowly and then a little tighter And it is not screwed in all the way (it has a gap in the breach about half a centimeter and one between teh gun and barrel (Which is half a cenitmeter)

I was thinking that it is so new that maybe the ano around the threads needs to be scrapped off might make it a tad easyer to un do, but see first i need to get the barrel off and I cant i have tried!

- Champaign fly ir3
- Black new style ultralite 14 inchs

apparently there was an issue with DYE and the IR3's. You have to specify that the barrel is for an IR3.

get a piece of rubber, or a jar opener etc, and you will have to put quite a bit of force on it....the threads should be okay tho, I highly doubt you crossthreaded them.

use a strip of rubber, and loop it around the barrel. Then take a pair of big ass pliers and grab the two ends as close to the barrel as you can and "roll" the rubber up in the pliers

srry thats kinda confusing. Ever see a boa constricter wrench? It has a loop of rubber strap that you put around whatever you want removed, and then you just twist the wrench so it makes the loop pull real tight.

hands+mouse pad+elbow grease

a little WD-40 might help too...little squirt around the gap, let it sit for a few minutes.

Where can I find elbow grease?

Watch the WD-40, it'll eat your orings if it gets inside the gun. But if you call DYE, you should get a replacement.

don't forget your turn signal fluid, that's the most important. I think most people are running on empty since they don't seem to be able to use them:wink:

and I think warpedx was using this new thing on the market you can find at your local Wal-Mart called sarcasm:wink:

It's next to the buckets of steam. I'll post later, it's time to go man my mail buoy watch.

Warped, wanted to send you a package, but they said it wouldn't fit on the buoy. Sorry about that...
